Released as part of the eighth batch of UK exclusive single cask bottlings, this brilliant expression has been aged for 13 long years in a single Pedro Ximénez sherry hogshead. The exceptional cask is smaller than usual, and has imbued the expression with an intense colour and an indulgent palate. Bottled at a robust cask strength of 57.7% abv, free from chill filtration and at natural colour.

Expect a nose full of mixed spice, cocoa, heather honey and citrus, with a touch of truffle. The palate holds flavours of chocolate buttercream, plum and treacle, followed by ginger, banana, cinnamon and caramel on the close.

 Cask #1426 is a single oloroso sherry hogshead filled in 2009 and left undisturbed for 17 years, giving it plenty of time to develop the kind of depth and complexity that can’t be rushed or replicated.

Bottled at 53% abv, the final result is all rich dried fruits, warming spice, and that deep, velvety sweetness that only a well-chosen oloroso cask can deliver. With only 356 bottles in existence, this is a genuinely rare find.

Released as a part of the GlenAllachie Wine Series, this 11-year-old Speyside single malt has been initially aged American oak bourbon barrels, before being treated to a two-year finish in French oak Cru Classe wine barriques skilfully sourced by Master Distiller Billy Walker. Top of the official Bordeaux wine classification, Premier Cru Classé chateaux are considered to produce wines of the highest quality and flavour. Bottled at 48% abv, free from chill filtration.

Expect waves of butterscotch, blackcurrant and heather honey on the nose, with hints of minerality, poached orchard fruits and orange zest. The palate brings layers of honeycomb, black fruits and dark chocolate, before flavours of crème de cassis and ginger on the finish.

The Glenallachie 2012 12 Year Old Bourbon Barrel Single Cask #2083 is a standout from the Glenallachie single cask range, offering a truly exceptional whisky experience. Chosen for its unique cask history, oak type, and provenance, this release showcases the distinctive qualities that make single cask expressions so special. Matured in a carefully selected bourbon barrel, this 61.3% ABV whisky has developed a polished gold hue and a beautifully herbal flavour profile.

On the nose, you’ll find a delightful mix of vanilla, butterscotch, and orchard fruits, with added layers of glazed cherries, buttered popcorn, and heather honey. The palate follows suit, with crushed vanilla, butterscotch, and a touch of cayenne pepper, leading into grilled honeycomb, cinnamon buttercream, and caramel. It’s a complex, rich dram with a depth of flavour that makes it a must-try for any whisky enthusiast.

The limited-edition GlenAllachie Wine Cask Series involved Master Blender Billy Walker firstly maturing the spirit in the finest American oak ex-Bourbon barrels, before transferring the whisky into hand-selected European wine barriques for secondary aging. For this Cuvée Wine Cask Finish bottling, Billy blended four exceptional wine cask finishes into one unique expression. The single malt is a marriage of spirit matured in several fine wine casks sourced from Bordeaux, Languedoc and Valpolicella. Bottled at 48% abv, and free from chill-filtration.

On the nose notes of orange blossom, espresso, sweet cherries and honeysuckle dominate with hints of candied stone fruits, hazelnuts, lavender and cinnamon. The palate is full of dark chocolate, red fruits and espresso, followed by candied almonds and blackberries. On the close, ginger and liquorice follow.

Another beautifully crafted single cask malt by GlenAllachie’s Master Blender, Billy Walker, the  GlenAllachie 2013 12 Year Old Pedro Ximenez Single Cask #1094 is a highly-limited release with only 367 bottles available.

Fully matured in a PX sherry cask before being bottled at a whopping 62.6% ABV, you can expect a nose of honeycomb, mocha and maraschino cherries, with baking spices, vanilla buttercream and molasses tart. On the palate, notes of treacle, cherry and candied orange, come through, followed by a sweet and satisfying finish of cinnamon buttercream, mocha and crème de cassis, with crystallised brown sugar and plum syrup.

Glenallachie 2014 Chinquapin & PX Cask The Sinteis Series Part 1 showcases the art of cask innovation, merging single malt matured in first-fill Pedro Ximénez Sherry puncheons with American Chinquapin oak from Missouri’s Ozark Mountains. Bottled at a robust 57.8% ABV, this cask strength release is presented with natural colour and without chill filtration, allowing the full depth of the whisky’s character to shine.

Deep walnut in colour, the whisky opens with aromas of liquorice, butterscotch, grilled honeycomb, and candied orchard fruits, enriched by cocoa and treacle tart. The palate delivers a rich symphony of ginger, candied lemon slices, fig jam, blackberries, molasses, and warming cinnamon spice, all wrapped in a backdrop of dark cocoa. This bold and complex expression marks a confident start to the Sinteis Series, celebrating the seamless melding of two distinct oak influences.

Batch Three of GlenAllachie’s anticipated 21-year-old series has been matured in Spanish sherry oak casks expertly selected by Master Blender Billy Walker. Three Pedro Ximénez puncheons were married and bottled at 51.5% abv, limited to just 2,400 bottles globally, free from chill filtration and at natural colour.

The nose opens with notes of raisins, dark chocolate orange, espresso and stewed fruits. The palate is full of brandy soaked currants, ginger, heather honey and more rich cocoa. The close is warming, sweet and indulgent.

For Batch 5 of GlenAllachie 21 Year Old, Master Distiller Billy Walker has thoughtfully finessed every drop of vintage auburn liquid in superior Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso casks, expertly sourced from Spain. Bottled at a cask strength of 49.2% abv, free from chill filtration and at natural colour.

Brandied honeycomb, molasses tart and spiced blood orange on the nose, with bursts of cocoa, black winter truffle and caramelised brown sugar. The palate brings rich chocolate, warm baking spices and clementine zest, followed by molasses, orchard fruits and crystallised ginger, with black cherries and raisin butter on the close.
