This island single malt is made with concerto malted barley with an in-grain phenols level of 78+ PPM, and fermented with Pinnacle MG and Anchor Yeasts. The delicious dram was crafted by maturing the liquid in a marriage of Madiera, Bourbon and Refil Whisky casks. With a limited release of 745 bottles, this whisky sits at 61.5% abv.
Expect notes of marzipan, coffee beans, peat smoke and citrus.

The nose offers seaside embers, baked apple, maple syrup, and gentle raisin richness, whilst the palate delivers soft smoke, vanilla custard, toasted almond, and sweet dried fruits. The finish is warming and persistent, with cinnamon, clove, and a gentle lingering smoke.

$40.00 Availability: In StockUqsquaebach (pronounced ‘oos-ke-ba’) has a pedigree dating back to 1877. This ‘Reserve’ expression is made with more than 50% malt whisky in the blend, with all the malt components aged between 16 and 18 years.
Bottled at 43% abv, the nose has sweet butter cookies with wholemeal bread and wild honey. The palate brings soft peat and dried heather with crisp apple notes and baked pear. The finish is smooth and long lasting with orange clove notes.

Comprised of a make up of 55% first fill ex-sherry European oak hogsheads and 45% first fill ex-sherry European butts, the colour is a natural mahogany, left free from chill filtration and bottled at a strength of 46% abv limited to 9,750 bottles.
The nose opens with blackberries and milk chocolate and a whiff of roasted walnuts and marzipan. The palate has baked figs, Medjool dates and apricots with hints of winter spices ending with a luxurious mouthfeel of bold spice and oak influence.

A family-run operation, Wemyss Malts has ties to the historic Haigs of Cameronbridge distillery. This limited edition has been crafted with single malts from the Highlands, Speyside and Bunnahabhain distilelry on Islay. Matured in sherry hogsheads for at least a quarter of a century, this expression has been bottled at 42.3% abv.
The nose has rich blackcurrant and maple toffe with woody spice and cigar leaf. The palate bring rich dried fruits, dates, figs, maraschino cherries and apricots, with a touch of milk chocolate. The finish is long and lingering with wood spice and velvety leather notes.

The Islay expression was aged for years in a single refill sherry butt, however was unconventionally taken out for some time, and transferred into another sherry butt to complete its 18-year maturation. Decanted at 55.3% abv, and one of only 629 bottles. The design is a tongue-in-cheek depiction of Rembrandt’s painting, ‘The Storm On The Sea of Galilee’.
Expect aromas of sea breeze and peat smoke, with notably fruity undertones. On the palate we find maritime flavours, complicated by hints of leather, tar and eucalyptus. Bold and beautiful!
