This limited edition expression from The Glendronach is one of their most luxurious expressions to date. Crafted from a bespoke selection of their oldest and most magnificent Oloroso sherry casks, and aged for almost three decades, the exuberant expression has been bottled at 49.2% abv. 

The nose is rich with sherry aromatics, which lead to notes of cocoa, damson plum, glazed cherry, dates, walnut and fine arabica coffee. A symphony of raisin and dark plum intertwined with cocoa and treacle on the palate, alongside cherry brandy and espresso, before a rewarding finish of tobacco and sherry-soaked walnuts. 

This fabulously rich expression has been enhanced by a second maturation for three years in Portuguese port casks. The result is wonderfully fruity and spicy with big, dramatic flavours.

The nose offers rich aromas of cherry blossom, milk chocolate, and juicy blackberries. On the palate, there are notes of ginger snaps, autumnal spices, and baked apple. The finish is particularly sumptuous with notes of cinnamon and chocolate appearing at the close.
