The palate is more intensified with rich and oily flavours of citrus, boiled sweets, and buttery pastry with cooking spices. The finish is long with lingering texture of syrup and thick marmalade.

    One of just 342 bottles available worldwide, the nose is full of that wonderfully familiar Islay character – tar, fishing ropes, and heavy smoke – with a few exciting twists of sesame seed and miso syrup. The palate is richly spiced with date and ginger puree, salty dark soy sauce, and the tannic bitterness of black tea. On the finish, the spice return with force in notes of cloves and mace, continuing to linger after the last swallow.

    The virtual event will be held on Thursday 28th April at 7:30pm. Places will be quite limited, so make sure you act fast to avoid disappointment!

    A limited edition bottling from Tobermory’s Hebridean Series, this grand Tobermory 25 Year Old has been lovingly crafted to offer a brighter, lighter and fruitier alternative to the Tobermory 24 Year old. The expression has benefited from a quarter of a century long maturation, with a finish in Oloroso sherry cask. Bottled at 48.1% abv, free from chill filtration and at natural colour.

    Expect notes of baked bread, sweet orange peel and butterscotch on the nose, with hints of cinnamon and chocolate. The palate is fruity, with flavours of blackcurrant jam, peach and lemon peel, along with subtler touches of almond, coconut, flowers and mint. The finish is lingering and spicy, with flavours akin to poached pear.

    The fourth chapter in the Torabhaig Legacy Series, Sound of Sleat takes its name from the dramatic stretch of water separating the Isle of Skye from the mainland. Crafted from a blend of Concerto and Laureate malted barley peated to over 78 PPM and fermented with 100% Pinnacle MG yeast for 72 hours, this single malt captures the distillery’s evolving signature of “Smoke with Taste.”

    Matured in Quercus Alba American oak, the whisky draws complexity from first-fill heavily toasted barrels, first-fill Kentucky Bourbon casks aged four to six years, and well-seasoned Bourbon barrels with over a decade of use. Bottled at 46% ABV without chill filtration or added colouring, it offers a natural, full-bodied character.

    On the nose, you can expect gentle aromas of orange and apricot mingle with sweet maritime seaweed, hints of popcorn, soft pipe tobacco, and delicate notes of honey, vanilla, and boiled sweets. The palate follows with light oak spice and rich, sweet bonfire smoke, underpinned by subtle honey and vanilla, a touch of sea salt and seaweed, and a whisper of white pepper and sweet spice. The finish is long and elegant, unfolding with honeyed warmth and an evocative taste of storms and ocean spray.
