Released as part of the First Editions series, this single malt Scotch whisky hails from Mortlach distillery in Speyside. The expression was distilled in 2009 and spent twelve years maturing in a single refill hogshead. Just 596 bottles were filled at 53.1% abv.

On the nose, there is fruit salad, creme brulee, and malt loaf. The malt loaf continues into the palate alongside ripe apples and gentle floral notes before leading into the creamy and lingering finish.

First Editions Royal Brackla 2014 11 Year Old HL21823 is a Highland dram, bottled in 2025 at 46% abv. One of only 351 bottles produced from a PX Hogshead, you’ll find that it has a fruity nose, rich caramel palate, and a finish of lingering sweentess.

This particular number offers the Glasgow 1770 Single Malt (46% ABV), a balanced and approachable whisky with notes of orchard fruit, vanilla and gentle oak spice.

Glayva’s story begins in the docks of Leith in Edinburgh, Scotland, in 1947. A local wine and whisky merchant, Ronald Morrison wanted to create a spirit that would warm and comfort his loyal customers during the cold Scottish winters. Blending together honey, cinnamon and spices, tangerines and blended Scotch whisky, Morrison created a liqueur so rich and smooth it was loved by everyone who tried it. In fact, when it came to naming the spirit, Morrison looked no further than the words of his warehouseman Hector. On first tasting the drink, Hector proclaimed ‘Gle Mhath’, which translated from Gaelic means ‘Very Good’. From this, Glayva was born and since that day, neither the spirit nor the flavour has changed.

This single cask has been bottled as part of Gordon and MacPhail’s Private Collection to celebrate the Platinum Jubilee. Distilled at Glen Grant on Saturday 26th January 1952 and matured for seven decades in a first fill sherry butt before being bottled on Sunday 6th February 2022. Just 256 bottles have been filled at a  strength of 52.3% abv.

Orange peel, honey, and dried fruits on the nose; the palate brings hints of mint, juicy clementine, and dark berries, before a long and gently smoky finish.
