An exceptionally well-crafted single malt from The Dalmore created in collaboration with architect Kengo Kuma and protégé Maurizio Mucciola. This expression has spent 15 years in a combination of Italian Amarone red wine casks, bespoke virgin “Kintsugi” casks that have been crafted from the Tay, and Japanese and American white oak before being bottled at 46.8% abv without chill filtration or added colouring. Highly limited, just 15,000 bottles have been produced.

Expect warming and inviting aromas of citrus zest, raspberry jam, and baked figs on the nose. The notes of fig continue in the palate alongside sumptuous hints of cacao and candied orange peel before leading into a finish full of dark chocolate, honey, and dried fruits.

Presenting the second release in The Dalmore’s breath-taking Luminary Collection. Luminary No.2, 2024 edition, was initally aged in American white oak bourbon casks, before being treated to a luxurious finish in Graham’s Tawny Port Pipes and Apostales Sherry Casks. With the lightest touch of exceptionally rare peated Dalmore spirit. Crafted in partnership with V&A Dundee, the 16-year-old expression has been bottled at 48.6% abv, and is limited to 20,000 bottles. 

Aromas of manuka honey, creme brulee and antique leather fill the nose, alongside touches of pomegranate, guava and cherry blossom. On the palate, flavours of ripe fig, Seville orange, forest fruits, coffee bean, fermented black limes and brioche lead to a wonderfully satisfying finish of freshly roasted hazelnuts, wood spice, cocoa, mango and a whisper of herbal wood smoke. 

Presenting The Dalmore Vintage 2005, a part of The Dalmore’s Vintage Collection, with only one expression released each year. Matured in American white oak bourbon casks, and enhanced by hand-selected Matusalem sherry and vintage 2005 sherry casks, the single malt is bottled at 49.3% abv. Free from chill filtration and at natural colour. 

Expect aromas of dark chocolate, salted caramel, antique leather and rich orange citrus, before a palate of rich cocoa, blood orange, dark fruits, marzipan and moist ginger cake. The finish brings vanilla, chocolate and a rich nuttiness.

A brand-new vintage addition to The Dalmore’s impressive selection of sherried drams. This expression was matured in a combination of Amoroso, Apostoles, and Matusalem sherry casks as well as Marsala wine barrels.

Expect aromas of crystallised ginger and fresh pastry on the nose. The palate brings mandarin, orange blossom, and baking spices before leading into a sumptuous finish full of gingerbread and brioche.

This twelve-year-old Ardbeg has enjoyed a three month long finishing period in an Oloroso cask before being bottled at 48.4% abv.

The nose has gentle smoky notes complemented by sweet grape hints. Dark chocolate and sea salt mingle on the smooth palate. The finish is long and smoky with welcome hints of oak.

From their limited-edition intensely sherried collection, Darkness present this rare Benrinnes 11 Year Old. The typically fresh and herbal whisky is a staple Speyside offering, however here the expression has been treated to a finish in hand-coopered Oloroso octave casks. Bottled at 56.1% abv.

Expect fresh and crisp aromas that quickly develop into fruits, honey and meats. The palate is malty and floral, with hibiscus, honey, chocolate and caramel before a finish of fruit and nut.

A powerful 18-year-old single malt from Blair Athol. This expression has enjoyed a three month long finishing period in Oloroso casks before bottling at 49.4% abv.

The nose is malty complemented by hints of espresso and hawthorn. The maltiness continues on the palate alongside baked figs and plums. The finish is long and fruity with a gentle hint of wood smoke.

From their limited-edition intensely sherried collection, Darkness present this rare Caol Ila expression. The Islay whisky has been matured for 14 years, including a special finish in hand-coopered Oloroso octave casks. Bottled at 55.5% abv.

Expect rich Islay minerality on the nose, along with aromas of sweet orange peel and earthy peat. The palate holds flavours of coal cinders, stewed fruits, toffee, vanilla and a gorgeous salinity, before a finish of singed citrus, spices and caramel.

The nose has anise, black tea, and dark chocolate. The palate is dramatic and herbal with smoky notes of coal tar and meat. The lingering finish is both smoky and spicy.
