This particular bottling comes from Highland distillery Macduff, and was matured for 15 years in a First Fill Bourbon Barrell before being bottled at 58.6% abv. On the nose there is lime and lemon zest with boozy vanilla, red apple, and coco powder. The taste is full of tropical fruits, butterscotch, and honey. With a medium finish, you’ll be left with lingering tropical fruit and spice notes.  

Presented by revered independent bottlers, Gordon & MacPhail, this cask strength Rosebank expression has been bottled as a part of The Recollection Series #2. The Lowland whisky was matured for 31 years in a single first-fill bourbon barrel, before being decanted at 53.5% abv. One of only 101 bottles.Expect aromas of vanilla, peach and lychee, which lead to a palate full of baked apple and aniseed with hints of mature oak. A medium length finish, with hints of menthol liquorice.

This bottling comes from Speyside distillery Speyburn, and was matured for 15 years in a single first-fill sherry butt (Cask 552) before being bottled at a cask strength of 60.2% abv. On the nose there is soft vanilla, red apple, clover and tangerine. The taste is full of white pepper, spice and poached pear. The finish is rich with walnut and oak, which lingers.

This particular bottling comes from Speyside distillery Tormore and was matured for 17 years in a Refill Bourbon Barrel before being bottled at 60.9% abv. One of just 211 bottles. 

 

This distinguished single malt hails from Glenburgie Distillery and forms part of the iconic Connoisseurs Choice Cask Strength collection. Distilled in 1989 and matured for 33 years in a refill sherry hogshead, it was bottled on 29th November 2022, yielding just 219 bottles from cask number 14143. This cask offering presents a rare opportunity to experience a whisky of exceptional age and character.

On the nose, expect rich sultana notes meet tart raspberry and delicate vanilla, while the palate reveals smooth citrus sweetness layered with cinnamon, ginger spice, and poached pears. The finish is full-bodied and warming, leaving a lasting impression of spice and seasoned oak.

On the nose there is spicy ginger, honey, and herbal aniseed notes. The taste is sweet and creamy with white chocolate and black pepper. The finish lingers long with butterscotch and oak.

This bottling comes from Speyside distillery Glendullan and was matured for 20 years in a First Fill Sherry Puncheon before being bottled at 58.4% abv. On the nose, expect rich forest fruits, complemented by peanut brittle and orchard fruits. The taste is of clove-studded tangerines, with caramelised sultanas, blackcurrant jam and ginger. The finish is full of spice and lingering oak.

This particular bottling comes from Orkney distillery Highland Park, and was matured for 17 years in a First Fill Sherry Butt before being bottled at 59.9% abv. On the nose there are fragrant notes of raisins and well as citrus, and nuts. The taste is full of freshly pressed apples and soft fudge, with hints of chilli. With a medium finish, you’ll be left with lingering spice notes well after the first sip.  

One from Gordon & MacPhail’s 2024 release of their iconic ‘Recollections Series’. A 39-year-old single malt from Speyside distillery Convalmore was matured in a bespoke G&M refill sherry hogshead. A glimpse into the whiskies of the past, the forgotten flavours of Convalmore, it’s waxy and fruity notes, have been captured in all their former glory in this dram, which is presented at 51.1% abv.
