The Dalmore Vintage 2009 is a distinguished single malt Scotch whisky, aged for 15 years in American white oak bourbon barrels and finished in rare Matusalem sherry casks and Graham’s 10-year-old Tawny Port pipes. Bottled in 2024 at 48.9% ABV, it offers a captivating complexity from start to finish. The nose reveals delicate notes of Manuka honey, dark plum, cracked black pepper, and subtle clove. On the palate, Morello cherries, dates, and candied Seville orange intertwine with fresh figs and a hint of light cacao. The rich finish lingers with flavours of plum, ginger cake, roast chestnut, and soft wood spice.
