Description
Matured and bottled by Gordon & MacPhail, this Connoisseurs Choice released as a part of their The Recollection Series #2 hails from Pittyvaich distillery in Speyside. The refill bourbon barrel was filled in 1992, and was decanted in 2023 into just 88 bottles. Presented at 48.9% abv, free from chill filtration and at natural colour.
Initial fragrant pear aromas combine with ginger and blossom. Grapefruit and lime zest aromas give way to apricot and hints of marzipan, before a full finish with lingering cocoa powder.
