This wee gem is a true triumph, blended and bottled at the iconic Springbank distillery in the charming Campbeltown region. It’s an award-winning blended malt that brings together the five expressions from the region’s three renowned distilleries: Glengyle, Glen Scotia and, of course, Springbank. The whisky has been carefully matured in a combination of both bourbon and sherry casks, resulting in the unmistakable Campbeltown flavor that whisky aficionados know and love. Bottled at 46% abv.

In this unpeated expression, Caol Ila’s Malt Master captures a blissful interplay between rich nutty character and delicious orchard fruit. Shorter fermentation bears cloudy worts that make for a gloriously creamy, nutty mouthfeel; while carefully part-filled stills enact higher copper contact to bring forth fresh green apple flavours and spicy accents. Matured for 11 long years and presented at 57.3% abv.

With the 2021 edition being a firm The Whisky Shop customer favourite, we’re delighted to present a doubled matured 2022 edition of this Caol Ila Islay single malt from the Distillers Edition collection. Bottled at 43% abv, the liquid was initially matured in a combination of American and European oak casks and later transferred to ex-Moscatel wine casks for further maturation.

The nose picks up scents of charred oak and stewed raisins and the taste is deep – a perfect balance between sweet and smoky notes that linger into the close.

Taking its name from the Gaelic for ‘dawn’, Moch is a wonderful newcomer from the renowned Caol Ila distillery of island of Islay.It is the first single malt from Caol Ila to be selected for taste alone: sweet, smooth and lightly smoky, unconstrained by age, cask wood, strength or finish.

This inviting whisky is golden in colour and is the perfect dram to enjoy whilst welcoming in the warmer months. The nose offers toffee, vanilla, and hints of fragrant spices. The nose offers brown sugar, candyfloss, and lemon meringue pie. On the palate there is rich fruit cake, sticky toffee pudding, and a hint of smoke. The finish has another burst of smoke combined with a hint of cinnamon and more rich sweetness.

Diageo’s Special Release 2022 bottles have arrived at The Whisky Shop! This bottle bears a powerful illustration of The Wildcat’s Golden Gaze. Finished in oloroso and Pedro Ximenez casks, this is a wonderfully sweet and spicy expression.

The nose is refined with honey, smouldering heather, and plenty of garden herbs. The palate is sumptuous and very creamy before leading into a long, peppery, drying, and spicy finish.

As one of the four corners of Johnnie Walker, Clynelish distillery has just one official bottling – the 14 Year Old. This coastal, and gently peated Highland single malt is closer to an Island style than other mainland malts. Bottled at 46% abv.

The sweet and floral nose leads to a pleasant creamy mouthfeel full of maritime flavour. Sea salt emerges on the dry and notably lengthy finish.
