A 35-year-old Caol Ila that has been bottled for the Golden Cask range by the House of Macduff. The liquid was drawn from a single bourbon barrel that was laid to rest in November 1984 for over three decades, before being bottled in February 2020 at 47.5% abv without chill filtration. Highly limited, just 204 bottles of this single malt have been produced.

The aromas of this expression reveals its Islay roots from the very start, with bonfire smoke, boat yard, (oil and old fishing ropes), and coal tar soap, before moving on to salt lemon with a honeyed sweetness, some treacle toffee and aniseed balls. Flavours show off its maturity with a good oak, dried peat, some spices, (white pepper); it is balanced with a fruity sweetness of peaches and over ripe pears and some gentle golden syrup which weaves through it from start to end. The finish flirts from honey and brown sugar to ash and peat smoke with a peppery touch, giving it a lovely warmth as it trails off…

The liquid was drawn from a single cask that was laid to rest in 1980 for just over two decades, before being bottled in 2015 at 49.1% ABV and without chill filtration. Highly limited, just 116 bottles of this single malt have been produced.

This single malt offering from Ardmore is bottled by Gordon & Macphail and arrives at a cask strength 57.9% abv. It was aged for 14 years in first fill bourbon barrels. It was distilled in June 1991 and bottled in May 2006. A pale gold single malt, this Elgin whisky is free from chill filtration and artificial colouring.

Pears, wood smoke, and orchard apple arrive on the nose. The palate is one of citrusy lemon, ground pepper, and exotic fruits. The finish is warming, long, and gives subtle hints of lemon, pears, and chilli.

This expression from Glen Grant distillery has been bottled by renowned independent bottler Gordon & MacPhail from their tremendous archives of whisky from the 1950s. Distilled in 1953, this Speyside single malt has been matured for 60 years in refill sherry casks before bottling in 2013 as part of the Distillery Label series. 

Expect notes of stewed apples, beeswax, and lemon, with a subtle menthol edge on the nose. The palate is peppery initially with orange and dark chocolate flavours with bonfire embers lingering in the background, before a long and subtly smoky finish.

Bottled by indpendent bottler Gordon & Macphail, this Glen Grant 1966 is a whisky of great age and rarity, released with the traditional old distillery label. Bottled in 2012 after spending 45 years maturing in sherry oak, this special Speyside single malt is finished at a strength of 40% abv.

An opportunity to taste sheer elegance. This vintage Glenlivet single malt whisky was bottled by Gordon & MacPhail in 2001 and distilled all the way back in 1949. After a 52 year maturation in a sherry cask, this extraordinary slumber has imparted layers and layers of complex flavours.

It is bottled at 40% abv, this is a rare example of Gordon & Macphail’s incredible vintage stock. Aromas of complex oak, tannin and fruit can be detected on the nose and through the palate. The finish is so long and luxurious that it’s one to be saved for a very special occasion.

Strikingly original. This Glenlivet 1966 is an achievement for the ages. Matured in oak casks for 47 years, this was bottled only in 2014. Coming in the original box, this is about as hard to find as they come. Bottled by Gordon & Macphail, this is free from colouring and chill filtration. It is bottled at 40% abv.

The nose gives fragrant vanilla aromas, with honey, pineapple, green apple and chocolate. The palate is full of white pepper, charred oak, grapefruit and lime. The finish is medium in length, but delicate and creamy, with the subtle note of vanilla creeping its way back in. A gorgeous dram.

This is a single malt distilled in 1974 at Glenlivet Distillery and bottled by independent bottler Gordon & MacPhail of Elgin in 2011 as part of their Distillery Label range. Bottled at 43% abv, the dram showcases warm sherry spiced notes with fresh apples and an overall fruitiness with an underlying influence from the oak.

Part of the Hazelburn range of unpeated whiskies from Springbank distillery, this 10 year old is triple distilled and matured in bourbon casks. Bottled at 46% abv.

Aromas of toffee, honey and sweet vanilla on the nose, before a palate of honeycomb and vanilla with hints of milk chocolate and fresh fruit. The finish is oily, sweet and lengthy.

This Campbeltown single malt is triple distilled from air-dried barley at Springbank distillery and aged for 12 years before bottling. Taking its name from one of Campbeltown’s lost distilleries, Hazelburn was first produced at the distilelry in 1997.

The nose is rich with an incredible sherry cask influence alongside chocolate, apricot, marmamlade and a touch of mazipan. The palate is malty and fruit with an elegant balance provided by notes of oak, figs and nuts, before a long and lingering fruity finish.
