The Glenrothes believe in letting its expressions do the talking. This award-winning 25-year-old dram is from the Soleo Collection. It matured in a high proportion of first-fill sherry seasoned oak cask and bottled at 43% abv. It has a natural colour and is free from chill filtration.

One can expect mango, pineapple, and a little cedar woodiness on the nose. Coriander, violets, and creamy salted caramel ice cream on the palate. The finish is long, lasting, and gives sharp little kicks of citrus and floral notes.

Distilled at Glenrothes Distillery in Speyside, this single malt Scotch whisky has been crafted with a specially selected combination of sherry-seasoned oak and ex-bourbon barrels. Matured for four decades before bottling at a strength of 43% abv, this expression is limited to just 594 individually numbered bottles as part of the 2019 release.

Expect notes of orange oil, sweet sultanas and nutmeg.

A 25 Year Old Glentauchers single malt from independent bottlers Gordon & MacPhail is sure to garner both attention and curiosity. Carefully matured for 25 years in a first fill sherry butt, this was distilled in 1995. 595 bottles have been produced of this Speyside whisky from the Glentauchers Distillery and arrives at a cask strength 57% abv. This expression is free from colouring, or chill filtration.

Expect notes of sweet vanilla, red cherries and chocolate on the nose. The palate is sweet, yet with a generous helping of spice, with rich orange marmalade, stewed fruits and oak. The finish holds lingering aniseed, with a hint of smoke. A sumptuous dram.

Batch 10 from That Boutique-y Whisky Company Glentauchers’ bottlings is an impressive 44-year-old! The label represents the distillery’s history and its experiments with “silent malt” which is malt distilled in column stills. Unfortunately the trend didn’t catch on and everyone chose to use copper pot stills. A fun fact nevertheless!

This 15-year-old single malt has been crafted with refill sherry oak casks and bottled at 55% abv without chill filtration or added colouring. 

The nose is bright and zesty with notes of lemon, toffee apple and a hint of spice, making way for a soft and oaky palate filled with sweet vanilla and citrus fruits. A lasting sweetness on the tongue makes for a pleasant finish. 

This rare and spectacular Glenturret 25-year-old single malt is one of only 204 bottles. After a long slumber for 25 years in a combination of American and European sherry oak casks, this expression has been bottled at 44.3% abv without chill filtration or added colouring.

Exploding with flavours of wood spice and oak, with hints of aniseed, cinnamon pastries and dark fruits. A subtle, sweet and spicy finish to close. Outstanding flavours from one of Scotland’s oldest active distilleries.

Part of the 2020 Maiden Release, The Glenturret’s Triple Wood has been matured in a combination of European and American sherry oak casks alongside Bourbon barrels, before being bottled at 43% abv without chill filtration or added colouring.

The nose is sweet with citrus fruits and caramel, alongside hints of fresh ginger cake and vanilla sponge that develop into stronger flavours on the palate. Oak and apple blossom are detected with a drop of water, making way for a sweet and salty finish.
