Description
A 23-year-old Speyside single malt that has been bottled for the Golden Cask range by the House of Macduff. The liquid was drawn from a single cask that was laid to rest in 1992 for just over two decades, before being bottled in 2015 at an impressive 61.7% ABV and without chill filtration. Highly limited, just 434 bottles of this single malt have been produced.
The nose is rich in dark fruits and newly-roasted coffee beans. The fruits continue in the palate with red berries taking the lead atop a malty sweetness. The finish has remnants of shortbread lingering on.
