The Highland expression was distilled at one of the oldest distilleries in Scotland, founded in 1798. Matured for 34 years in a single hogshead cask, the bottle is one of only 202 produced. Bottled at 45.4% abv.
Earthy aromas of Highland peat bogs, roasted barley, dark chocolate, honeycomb and leather arise on the nose, with waves of herbaceous peat on the palate. Along with resin, oak smoke and tar, moving to dried fruit, cocoa powder and dates. Spice rises on the finish giving lasting waves of smoke and turf.Â

Bottled by Berry Bros. & Rudd, this is an exceptional single malt from the Glen Grant Distillery. This whisky was distilled in 1998 and slumbered in a single butt cask until being bottled in 2021. Only 612 bottles of this fabulous dram were produced.
On the nose, sweet aromas arise with juicy orange and brown sugar. The palate is fruity, with perfect complementary notes of malt and dark chocolate. The finish is long and wonderfully oaky.

The nose is malty with freshly baked bread, complemented with ripe Granny Smith apples. The palate brings sweet and vibrant flavours with notes of zesty red berries and heather honey. The finish is satisfying with a lingering fruitiness.

The Speyside single malt was matured for 11 years in a hogshead cask, with a finish in an Oloroso sherry cask. One of only 459 bottles. Bottled at 52.6% abv.Â
The nose opens with sweet apricot, figs and peach, leading to spiced creamy carrot cake. On the palate we find an overwhelming flavour of rich dried fruitcake. The addition of a little water reveals more fresh peaches and coconut, along with further wood spice. The finish is long, and spiced.

On the nose, there is lemon peel, rich honey, and oak. This oakiness continues in the palate alongisde fruity notes of orange and peach before leading into the sweet and satisfying finish.

Black Bull 40 year old
$830.00 Availability: In StockThe fabulous and famous flagship dram of Black Bull’s collection. A first-rate blended whisky, this uses the highest quality single malt and single grain whiskies from Scotland’s premium distilleries. The spirit in this bottling ranges from 40 to 51 years old. Single grain whiskies make up 14% of the blend, from Caledonian and Dumbarton distilleries. The bulk of the dram is made up from Glenlivet, Macallan, Caperdonich, Highland Park and Bunnahabhain. This is an expression sure to make Black Bull a recognisable name in the blended whisky arena. Only 1500 bottles are available in this, the seventh batch of its limited edition release. At 47.6% abv, this is free from chill filtration, any added colourant, and is a cask strength whisky.
Expect a sweet nose, full of resonant notes of toffee apples, milk chocolate, tropical fruits, toffee apples, and a hint a sherried presence. The palate continues this presence, with fruit cake, hazelnuts, and vanilla pairing with a vibrant fruitiness. The finish is long, smooth, and lingering, with a maple syrup note on the exit. Phenomenal.
