    Distilled at the Macduff Distillery and bottled in 2024, this 16-year-old Speyside single malt is part of Single Cask Nation’s ever-growing list of fantastic drams. A limited-edition with just 259 bottles made, the liquid was finished in a first-fill American oak hogshead and bottled at 56.8% abv. 

    Nose: Opens with a lingonberry tartness that gives way to warm apple pie, melted butter, warm toffee, toasted oats, roasted nuts, and powdered ginger with hints of honeysuckle around the edges.

    Palate: Wonderfully complex with warm fruit compote, toasted buttered oats, coffee & vanilla ice cream, crisp red apples, overripe peach, and baked pears with ginger.

    Finish: Long and pleasantly drying with shaved dark chocolate, tart fruits, and lingering ginger spice.

    On the nose, expect notes of heather honey, malty biscuits, peaches, oak and touches of aromatic smoke. The palate is oily in texture, with flavours of black pepper, honey, sultanas and citrus leading to a finish full of lime zest.

    On the nose, expect sharpness with a chalky brininess. Peat with lime and nettle vegetation bursts through, followed by a puff of dusty dark chocolate. On the palate, you’ll find an abundance of lime and salt. Nettle cordial follows, with a light effervescence and a brilliant minerality. High-cocoa solid chocolate rounds it off, studded with crystallised lime peel. The finish closes the experience with lingering lime leaf and dusty coal smoke.

    This rare 11-year-old single malt, distilled at Laphroaig in 2014, hails from the storied Isle of Islay and showcases the distillery’s distinctive balance of sweet, salty maritime character and deeply phenolic smoke. Matured in a single refill sherry hogshead (Cask 211), it yielded just 338 bottles at a robust natural strength of 64.9% abv. An unchillfiltered, naturally coloured expression full of character.

    Expect a nose of yellow plum, gooseberry and toasted oats, enriched by cedar wood and freshly scorched pine needles. On the palate, charred yellow peppers intertwine with savoury spice and cigar smoke, brightened by a lift of fresh lemon citrus. The finish is refined and lingering, recalling the embers of a well-fired sherry cask.

    Beginning life with a 120-hour fermentation and slow distillation, before resting for 12 years, this release was bottled at 57.6% abv. The nose is rich and inviting with vanilla infused toffee and cardamom spices, underlaid with cranberry jam. The palate is smooth and inviting with an oily mouthfeel full of stewed apples and new oak influences. The finish brings robustness and depth with lingering liquorice and oolong tea.
