A delightful expression from Signatory Vintage, bottled as part of their Un-Chillfiltered Collection. This dram hails from Islay’s Bunnahabhain distillery. The expression was distilled on 20th October 2014 and spent seven years maturing in a quartet of de-charred and re-charred hogsheads before being bottled on 17th June 2022 at 46% abv.

Distilled at Teaninich in 1983, this Highland single malt has been matured for 35 years in a single refill sherry butt before being bottled in December 2018 for Signatory Vintage’s 30th Anniversary series. Just 575 bottles were filled at a robust 57.5% abv.

The nose is intricate with peppermint and vanilla pods. This vanilla continues in the palate, alongside sea breeze and peat smoke before leading into the rich and satisfying finish.

Bottled by Single Cask Nation, America’s leading independent bottler, this Ardnamurchan expression has been matured in a single first-fill bourbon barrel for six years. Presented at 58.9% abv.

Aromas of peaches, fresh oak and chocolate on the nose, before a palate of malt biscuits, orange zest and hints of black pepper. The finish is long and bright, with more orange notes and a touch of cinnamon.

Single Cask Nation’s Balmenach 2013 11 Year Old is an intriguing whisky, offering a complex character. Matured in a first fill bourbon barrel, the signature heavy strength of a Balmenach’s spirit is lightened by notes of sweetness and spice from the bourbon. Bottled at 59.2% ABV and non-chill filtered. The whisky is full-bodied with a depth of flavour, offering notes of lemons, cinnamon, toffee and green grass.

This Single Cask Nation Bunnahabhain Staoisha 2013 10 Year Old is a heavily peated expression that showcases Bunnahabhain’s ability to produce an intensely smoky yet well-balanced dram. Distilled in 2013 and aged for 10 years, partially in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks, it is bottled at 59.3% ABV and is free from chill filtration. The whisky is a perfect combination of maritime peat, sticky sherry, and complex fruit, making it an excellent choice for those who enjoy a sweet peated whisky with depth and character. 

This striking release comes from Bunnahabhain, one of northern Islay’s best-known distilleries, done in its Staoisha style. Distilled in October 2013 and matured entirely in a refill bourbon hogshead, this 11-year-old single malt is bottled at a robust 57.1% ABV, with just 221 bottles available.

On the nose, it opens with sea air, iodine-rich seaweed, and beach bonfire embers. The palate is powerful, with a punch of smoke that surges forward with flavours of jalapeño, and a sweetness that balances the heat. The finish is long and soot-dusted, with juicy pears and lingering smoke.

Single Cask Nation is the leading independent bottler in the United States, recognised with industry awards since its inception in 2011. This 2011 Glen Garioch bottling forms part of their tenth global release. 

Aged for 14 years, including a two-year finish in a first-fill bourbon hogshead, this whisky displays all the hallmarks that have made the distillery a favourite, from warm grist and fresh malt to a lively, glowing energy. Bottled at 50.1% abv, it is a spirited and characterful Highland malt.

An 18-year-old single malt from Glen Grant bottled by Single Cask Nation, this elegant dram showcases the lighter, fruity style for which the distillery is so well known. Distilled in 2006 the whisky spent four years finishing in a 2nd fill #4 char oak barrel. Bottled at 57.6% ABV, this is a highly limited release of just 180 bottles.

On the nose, it bursts with juicy pear, icing sugar, lemon drops, and a fruit sweetness. The palate leans into flavours of vanilla custard, peach melba, and ripe pear. The finish is crisp and refreshing, with notes of apple and malty biscuits.

A lively and spirited Speyside dram, the Knockdhu 10 Year Old was distilled in October 2014 and matured for 7 years in a 1st fill Pedro Ximénez sherry hogshead. Bottled at a bold 58% ABV, and with 285 bottles released, it’s a proper treat for fans of flavour and collectors alike!

On the nose, expect toffee and roasted hazelnuts with a hint of chewy leather, and a warming sherry influence. The palate is zesty with red berries, red currants, tart cherries, and a touch of pink grapefruit. The finish is full of chocolate mousse and orange.

Bottled by Single Cask Nation, America’s leading independent bottler, this Linkwood expression has been lovingly matured in a single first-fill French oak hogshead for 12 years. Presented at a cask strength of 55.2% abv, just 270 bottles were filled.

Aromas of fresh cut grass, peach blossom, malty biscuits and exotic spices mix with a hint of salinity, before an earthy palate of malted barley, citrus, green apple and subtle tobacco. The finish is peppery and citrus-y, with hints of mixed spice and cocoa.
