Description
Hand-selected by the Director of Pol Roger Portfolio, Peter Donnelly, this fourth release in five-bottle collection was chosen from a single selected first-fill sherry butt, filled at the turning of the millennium, an event attended by the Grant family who have owned Glenfarclas distillery for generations, as well as their staff. The casks were in fact filled by the family, and prominent among them George S. Grant, serving chairman for an extraordinary 52 years, making this a momentous bottling for the brand.
Bottled at 51.2% abv and finished in a first-fill sherry butt, each release is limited edition and contained in a crystal Glencairn decanter.
