The nose has toffee and dark chocolate, balanced with sweet pear and creamy berries. The palate is sweet and syrupy with more chocolate covered toffee, black coffee and figs, with sweet oak and pear emerging towards the rich and long lasting finish.

Bourbon cask matured whisky from the 1970s adds vintage oak character, port finished whisky from the 1980s bring a sweeter character and spice, with Madeira cask matured whisky from the 1990s and 2000s adding vanilla and toffee. Finally, sherry casks from the 1990s add a rich body and mouthfeel to this luxurious single malt.
The nose opens with an explosion of sugar-crusted rhubarb crumble, chocolate-coated raisins and toasted almonds. The palate is rich and complex, with a well-balanced mix of coffee, dark chocolate, sweet raisins and fortified wine. The finish is long and satisfying with spice and oak to the fore.

Glen Moray Rhum Agricole

For this UK exclusive release, 10-year-old Glen Moray whisky was finished in casks from St James distillery in Martinique that previously held Rhum Agricole, a unique style of rum that is made with freshly squeezed sugar cane juice. Limited to just 3,060 bottles, this expression is presented at a strength of 46.3% abv.
The nose has marzipan, apricot jam and pineapple. The palate brings dark treacle toffee, cherry and spicy gingerbread, before a long and satisfying finish.

Glen Moray Warehouse 1 1998 Barolo Finish
$139.00 Availability: In StockFollowing the immensely popular Tokaji Finish in June, Glen Moray are happy to expand the Warehouse 1 Collection with this, a single malt Glen Moray finished in ex-Barolo casks. This was distilled in 1998 and was aged for 23 years, the collections oldest expression. Matured in ex-bourbon casks, it was then moved to three ex-Barolo wine casks where it spent a finishing period of at least 18 months.
Only 853 bottles of this have been released. This dram is bottled at a cask strength 52.9% abv, is free from chill filtration, and is presented in natural colour. If Glen Moray’s single malt is the chart-topper, this expression is high art.
On the nose, aromas of summer flowers, caramel chocolates, and Werthers Originals sweets all arrive. The palate is one that opens with a big hit of winey tannins, with leather, and smooth oak all combining with figs, dark plum fruits, and blackberries. A gentle finish awaits, with a lingering honey smoothness. Sumptuous.

Glen Moray Warehouse 1 Tokaji Finish

The first expression is a spectacularly sweet bottling of five casks of Glen Moray distilled in 2005 and matured for over 15 years, first in ex-bourbon casks before being finished in casks having previously held Hungarian Tokaji Wine. It’s been bottled at a cask strength of 53.6% abv without chill filtration or added colouring.Â
The nose is sweet with sugared almonds, caramel toffees and freshly baked gingerbread. On the palate, these flavours mingle with malt and maple syrup to create a whisky befitting of a Tokaji cask selection. Divine!

This lowland whisky is the result of a series of unpeated distillations from between 2009 and 2011, aged 10 years in first fill bourbon barrels. The casks were vatted together and finished for five months in first fill Bordeaux Medoc red wine casks. Under the care of Michael Henry, Master Blender of Glen Scotia, the whisky was finally married into refill bourbon casks and bottled at cask strength 56.1% abv
On the nose, honey and fresh red berries, with a hint of salt. The palate reveals sweet honey with apples and strawberries, and notes of oak and vanilla. A long and spicy finish.

The nose has spiced rum notes with ripe plums and toffee. The palate is rich and smooth with sweet vanilla, raisins, sultanas, salted butter and warming nutmeg, cinnamon and clove spices. The finish is long and nutty with a drying aspect.

Matured carefully in first fill bourbon and American oak hogsheads, this dram also underwent a finishing period for 12 months in first fill Oloroso hogsheads and heavily charred American oak barrels, then being married together at cask strength prioer to bottling. This marriage of cask finishings and flavours gives a complex, warm, and spicy dram that is perfect for festive desserts and treats.
Aromas of orchard fruits, vanilla ice cream, and a fresh sea air salinity arrive on the nose. The palate is spicy, with lingering notes of vanilla, sugar, and festive spices. The finish is long, warming, and nutty. A great one to keep you warm over the cold winter months.

The nose is sweet and fruity, with heather honey, summer berries and a classic Campbeltown coastal note. The palate brings a soft peat and sea salt note, with sweeter notes of honey, raspberry and peach, before apple crumble and custard. The finish is long and lingering with peat smoke, allspice and black forest fruits.

Distilled in December 1973 and matured for almost forty years in refill bourbon barrels, it was re-racked into first fill bourbon casks in 2011. Aged for a further seven years before being selected for bottling by Master Distiller Michael Henry in 2019, this expression is limited to just 150 individually numbered bottles. Each bottle is presented in a beautiful case hand-crafted from sustainably sourced British walnut and lined with embossed leather.
The nose has Campbeltown’s bold coastal notes alongside rich fruit notes of pineapple and green apple, before floral notes of rose, vanilla and toasted oak emerge. The palate is oily and sweet with caramel, mango, pineapple, melon, vanilla and honey. the finish is long and warming with sea salt, lime, cinnamon and ginger.
