Decanted from a single first-fill Oloroso sherry butt (cask no. DRU17A106#14), this gorgeous 17-year-old Speyside single malt is one of just 587 bottles. Exclusive to us at The Whisky Shop, the rare bottling, adored with a mysterious letter ‘M’, has been bottled at a robust 57% abv.

This independently bottled Ardbeg 1991 is a rare release selected by Signatory Vintage’s Andrew Symington. Distilled in 1991, it was matured for 33 years in a first-fill Oloroso sherry butt. Bottled in 2024, this exceptional whisky from Islay offers rich, complex flavors that showcase its long maturation. With only 398 bottles available, this limited-edition release carries an ABV of 52.6%. A true collector’s item, this 33-year-old Ardbeg is a testament to the distillery’s resilience and craftsmanship.

This beautiful Auchentoshan Lowland single malt whisky has been matured in refill bourbon barrels before enjoying a 20-month finish in a fresh sherry butt.  Just 696 bottles of the 22-year-old dram were filled in 2022 at 55.6% abv.

Matured in 2nd Fill Oloroso Sherry Butts and bottled at a robust 57.1% ABV, the expression balances the distillery’s signature smoky intensity with a softer sherry-wood sweetness imparted by the second-fill casks.

Expect notes of peat smoke, smoked meat, dark dried fruit, and a touch of brine, with the higher ABV ensuring a long, warming finish with lingering ash and dried cherry. Bottled without chill-filtration and at natural colour.
