    Expect aromas of liquorice and chocolate, with a hint of smoke. The palate leads to flavours of red berries and caramel, before a long and lingering finish with a malty sweetness.

    Distilled, matured, and bottled in Scotland by Hunter Laing, this classic wee number is a fabulous 18 year old Speyside dram which is full of flavour. One of only 676 bottles drawn from a refill butt, the liquid was bottled at a smooth 50% abv in September 2025.

    On the nose expect raspberries, stewed plums, and dark chocolate. The palate is full of freshly cut barley, lemon zest, and marzipan. The finish is long, and lingers with herbal notes.

    Distilled in May 2014 at Speyside’s Tamdhu distillery, this single malt expression spent seven years maturing in a sherry hogshead. Bottled in April 2022, this expression was produced by esteemed independent bottler Hunter Laing & Co. for their Old Malt Cask series. Only 159 bottles were filled, each one at 50% abv.

    The nose is full of Demerara sugar, raspberry, and honey. The palate has plenty of dark fruits, butterscotch, and cinnamon before leading into the sumptuous, lingering, sweet finish.

    An unusual example of the make. Very deep amber, with ruby lights; a polished conker. Some nose prickle, as expected at this strength. The top notes suggest European oak maturation – malt loaf, mixed dried fruits, kitchen spices (allspice, mace, nutmeg). A smooth texture and a sweetish, spicy taste; medium length finish with dried fruits in the aftertaste.

This first expression is initially matured in ex-bourbon casks with a delightful finish in Pineau des Charentes casks, an iconic regional aperitif, hailing from the Charente-Maritime region on the oceanic southwest coast of France. A lighter, sweeter taste has been brought to the classic Maritime Malt.

    The nose opens with fragrant aromas of honey, vanilla, balsamic glaze and raisins. The taste is oaky, nutty and spicy alongside candied oranges. The dram tails of with a drying sweetness, caramelised hazelnuts and a coastal minerality.

    On the nose, aromas of dried fruits, buttery vanilla, candied orange peel and ginger bread swirl amongst deep undertones of cherries, marzipan and dark chocolate.     Expect aromas of smoky peat and roasted almonds, with a hint of tea leaves and pine, leading to a palate of sweet orange peel, apple and custard, along with burned oak and sea salt. The finish is herbal and smoky, rounding off this complex dram.
