This 10-year-old single malt from Benriach, bottled by Signatory Vintage, is a bold and indulgent Speyside whisky matured entirely in first-fill Oloroso sherry butts. Distilled in 2014 and released as part of the highly regarded 100 Proof range, it boasts a natural cask strength of 57.1% ABV, capturing the full depth of its sherry cask influence. Expect a nose of figs, dates, honey, and clove-studded oranges, underpinned by a touch of polished wood. On the palate, expect a luxurious combination of raisin loaf, warming spice, and dark cherries wrapped in bitter chocolate. A must for sherry cask enthusiasts.
