Distilled in January 2008 at Craigellachie distillery, this single malt Scotch was laid down in a single wine cask to mature for 14 years. Bottled in February 2022 at 50% abv, this expression was produced by renowned independent bottler Hunter Laing & Co. for the Old Malt Cask series. 

The nose is rich with sandalwood, creamy toffee, and sweet dried red berries before making way for a sumptuous palate full of barbeque sauce, dark chocolate, and plums. The finish is lingering with flavours of fruit and oak lasting long after the last sip.

Bottled by Hunter Laing & Co. to commemorate the launch of The Ardnahoe single malt, this Glen Garioch expression has been matured for 14 years in a single refill hogshead. The Highland expression is presented at 50% abv. free from chill filtration and at natural colour. One of just 361 bottles.

Aromas of nutmeg and ginger on the nose, alongside a lactic creaminess. On the palate, orange pith, green tea and banana yoghurt lead to a spicy finish with a pleasant tannin influence.

The nose is fruity and sweet with fresh vanilla and apricots. The palate has notes of candied orange peel, boiled sweets, and freshly baked bread before giving way to a lingering, sweet, and fruity finish.

From Hunter Laing & Co.’s Old Malt Cask collection, this Glengoyne expression has been matured for 14 years in a single sherry hogshead cask. The Highland whisky is presented at a natural cask strength of 46.5% abv and is free from chill filtration. 

The nose offers dried fruits, toffee and vanilla, before leading to a fruity palate of marmalade, nutmeg and apricots. The finish is long and satisfying, with more sweet fruits.

This Island single malt from Orkney’s Highland Park distillery was distilled in September 1997 before maturing in a single refill hogshead for 19 years. Only 210 bottles have been produced at a preferred strength of 50% abv for Hunter Laing & Co’s Old Malt Cask range of single cask expressions.The nose offers orange, butterscotch and vanilla. Milk chocolate, orange and heather on the palate before a satisfyingly smoky finish with brown sugar and chocolate aspects.

Just 264 bottles have been produced, each one at a strength of 50% abv.

Expect aromas of custard, heather honey and lemon meringue pie. The palate is gingery and malty with minor vegetal notes. On the close you will find a long and pleasant pepperiness with sweet malt.
