Inspired by Scotland’s legendary Hogmanay traditions celebrated each 31st December, this seasonal release from The Macallan was crafted by Lead Whisky Maker Sarah Burgess using her fond memories of Hogmanay’s of old. This limited edition single malt has been matured in a selection of American and European oak sherry seasoned casks, along with American ex-bourbon barrels, and bottled at 43% abv.

The result is a sweet velvety dram, encased in a luxurious bottle adorned with abstract designs from the acclaimed French illustrator, Erica Dorn. Having previously worked with film director Wes Anderson, her touch makes for a special unboxing experience. Let this be the first footer across your door this Hogmanay.

On the nose, we encounter creamy vanilla, sumptuous butter and delicate notes of stewed apples. The palate delivers an intense shortbread-like taste, drifting into lightly toasted marshmallow, figs, dried oranges and cinnamon. Ending with a medium finish of sweet butterscotch and fresh-out-of-the-oven buttery biscuits.

The Macallan Art is inspired by renowned Scottish architect, designer and artist Charles Rennie Mackintosh and his 1902 ‘The Spirit of the Rose’ stained glass panel. Evoking Mackintosh’s time in Europe the Macallan’s European Oak delivers the key oak notes, spices and dried fruit alongside the more delicate notes of fruits that bear their own blossoms. Bottled at 50.4%.

On the nose their are aromas of rich dried fruits, raisins and fig, accompanied by polish oak, cherry, orange, almonds and treacle. The palate shines with sweet oak, raisins, vanilla and ginger, apple a just a whisp of leaf tea. The finish is long, sweet, rich, full and unmistakably Macallan.

The Macallan Classic Cut 2025 Edition is the ninth release in the limited annual series, continuing the distillery’s ongoing exploration of flavour. Carefully crafted from casks selected at the peak of their maturation, it combines sherry-seasoned European and American oak with ex-bourbon barrels to create a whisky of remarkable richness and complexity. Bottled at 50.6% ABV.

The nose reveals orange oil, barley sugar, creamy vanilla and freshly baked apple turnover, while the palate is layered with icing sugar sweetness, mandarin, citrus meringue and caramelised notes. The finish is long and elegant, carrying grapefruit, melon and a gentle touch of warming oak spice, all presented in a golden sunset hue.

Distil Your World Hong Kong is the fourth release in The Macallan’s acclaimed series, honouring the city’s rich heritage and its historic role in the spice trade. Crafted under the direction of Lead Whisky Maker Euan Kennedy, this limited edition draws on a selection of exceptional casks – European oak sherry-seasoned hogsheads ex-bourbon casks, and sherry-seasoned American oak – which add sweetness, balance, and the distinctive antique oak character unique to The Macallan.

Married for an extended period and bottled at 46.8% abv for optimum mouthfeel and flavour expression and presented in a royal blue case inspired by the waters surrounding Hong Kong. The packaging features an etched map of Victoria Harbour, symbolising the city’s transformation from fishing village to global metropolis. A complex and expressive single malt, it invites the drinker to revisit its layers time and again, revealing new stories with every glass.

Expect a deeply layered profile of spice, tropical fruit, and aged oak, with resinous ginger, fresh mango and pomelo. 

An oustanding release from The Macallan. Incredibly rare and highly sought after, this single malt has been triple matured in a combination of sherry seasoned Spanish oak casks, sherry seasoned American oak casks, and bourbon seasoned American oak casks. The result is a sumptuously smooth and stunningly intricate expression.

The nose is rich and striking, with notes of honey and passionfruit appearing. The palate is equally rich, with flavours of Christmas cake and sweet orange peel dancing across the tongue. This leads into the long and slightly smoky finish. A truly accomplished dram.

Each expression is presented in a stunning Lalique crystal decanter, and at natural colour.

In the Macallan M Copper, the small stills gives the spirit ultimate contact with the copper, helping to concentrate the spirit to create a rich and robust character.
