Kilchoman’s oldest global release to date, this landmark whisky is a combination of 21 casks that have been maturing for over 16 years, in predominantly ex-bourbon barrels with some Oloroso sherry casks. Bottled at 50% abv. 

Expect delightfully rich aromas of baked apple, creamy citrus, pears, plums and nutmeg, before a palate of festive spices, fresh vanilla, tropical fruits and smouldering peat smoke. The finish brings dried mango, bbq smoke and a lasting honey sweetness.

Celebrating two decades of craftsmanship, this Kilchoman 18 Year Old from the 20th Anniversary Cask Series was drawn from five casks laid down in 2006 and showcases the elegance of long-term maturation in ex-Bourbon barrels. This expression is a testament to Kilchoman’s early distilling years and the rewards of patient ageing.

Bottled at 46% abv, it reveals a full-bodied nose rich with butterscotch, vanilla, and toasted oak. The palate delivers depth and warmth, where sweet caramel and stewed fruits are balanced by a gentle thread of peat smoke and a touch of coastal salinity. Its refined character lingers in a long, smooth finish, offering toffee, butterscotch, and a whisper of maritime smoke.

The second release of Kilchoman matured in Fino Sherry casks, this expression is a limited edition 5-year-old Islay whisky. Sherry cask maturation is usually reserved for their expressions of Sanaig and Loch Gorm, and even then the casks previously held Oloroso. One of only 15,650 bottles, free from chill filtration and at natural colour. Presented at 50% abv.

Expect initial aromas of dry peat smoke, followed by Kilchoman fruitiness, smoked oak and butterscotch. The palate is full of honeycomb sweetness, rich toffee, fresh citrus, flaked almonds and delicate peat, leading to a lengthy finish of peat smoke and dark chocolate.

Named after the body of water which the distillery resides by, Loch Gorm is a sherry matured expression released annually by Kilchoman in limited numbers. Loch Gorm 2022 is a vatting of whisky from 22 Oloroso sherry butts each of which had matured for at least eight years.

Orange blossom, juicy strawberries, and sweet smoke are all present on the nose. Notes of sumptuous caramel, roasted nuts, and rich tobacco appear on the palate before leading into a long and complex finish full of hints of star anise and oak.

Aside from its exquisite packaging and inclusions, the whisky itself is pretty spectacular. Named after the famous Machir Bay beach on Islay, the homeland of the Kilchoman Distillery, this bottling is the brand’s flagship release. Combining both sherry and bourbons casks (at approximately 1:9) in its maturation process, the final result is a 50ppm heavily peated release that’s packed with fruit and spice.

Bottled at 46% abv, you can expect a nose of lemon zest, vanilla, and distinct coastal influence, which gives way to floral intensity, juicy peaches, pears and wafts of rich spices. On the palate, you’ll find bursts of tropical fruits, sultanas, malt, butterscotch, and rich sweetness. To close, the dram brings on waves of sherry-soaked fruits, cracked black pepper and sea salt, citrus, and maritime peat.

This limited edition single malt from Kilchoman is their first to be fully matured within Pedro Ximénez sherry casks. The whisky has been aged for a minimum of five years in casks previously used by Bodega José y Miguel Martin, Jerez, Spain. With an outrun of 23,000 bottles, the liquid has been bottled at 50% abv.

On the nose, expect aromas of sweet sultanas and raisins with rounded peat smoke, layers of liquorice and hints of citrus sweetness. The palate brings brown sugar, malty sweetness, orange peel, dark chocolate and waves of sherry before a finish of chocolate coated raisins, oak smoke and lasting PX sweetness.

Part of the Kilkerran limited core range, this 8 year old cask strength (55.6% abv) annual release was distilled at Glengyle distillery in Campbeltown, and was laid down in bourbon casks for at least eight years before being bottled free from chill filtration and artificial colourings at a natural cask strength of 55.6% abv.

Expect a nose of key lime pie, apple jelly, honey and vanilla, a palate of creamy banoffee pie, vanilla custard and panna cotta. The finish draws a sea salt and brine conclusion with a final flourish of gorse.

Nose: floral, vanilla and sweet banana.

Palate: cocoa nibs, Iberico ham, earthy peat smoke and tropical fruits.

Finish: peat smoke lingers with a digestive biscuit note.
