This 10-year-old Speyside single malt is distilled at The BenRiach distillery and was pioneered under the stewardship of Billy Walker when he took over the distillery in 2004. Following the sale of the distillery to Brown-Forman in 2016, the BenRiach 10 Year Old has continued to be a key expression in the distillery’s core range.

This set includes two BenRiach branded whisky glasses making it the perfect gift for any Speyside whisky aficionado.

Natural tawny amber in colour from a mix of American and European oak casks, it has a fruity top-note (fresh apple, with a hint of powdered ginger) with a vanilla sponge base; these aromas are well translated by the taste, which is sweet overall, with light acidity, referencing peaches and lemon zest; a creamy texture and a long, warming finish.

The Smoky Ten is the perfect introduction to the smokier side of Benriach. Crafted with a combination of peated and unpeated spirit, this expression is three cask matured in bourbon barrels, Jamaican rum casks and toasted virgin oak casks. Bottled at a strength of 46% abv, this 10-year-old Speyside single malt has a rich, smoky intensity seldom seen in Speyside.

Ripe orchard fruit syrup and smoked honey glaze on the nose. The palate opens with a rich smoked applewood, before maple honey and spiced pear emerge. The finish has lingering fruit notes and a smoked oak influence.

The Original Ten is the flagship expression of Benriach Speyside single malt. Matured in sherry casks, bourbon barrels and virgin oak casks, this expression is married together under the expert care of Master Blender, Rachel Barrie. Inspired by the very first single malt released by Benriach in 1994, this 10-year-old has a smooth and multi-layered profile that is the perfect introduction to the Benriach range.

The nose is rich in orchard fruits, with honey and warm toasted oak notes. The fruits continue in the palate with pear and nectarine atop a malty sweetness. The finish has almonds and spiced vanilla lingering on.

This is just magnificent. On the nose the aromas are layered with spice, nuts, honey and fruits and on the palate it is beautifully rounded and rich. The finish is long and complex and simply delightful.’

Bottled exclusively for the UK market, this single cask whisky from Benriach showcases the Speyside distillery’s unique flavour vision by maturing its peated spirit in a single ex-rum cask for 14 years. Only 225 bottles were produced, each at a cask strength of 52.6% abv and without chill filtration or colouring.

Sweet and smoky on the nose with some savoury notes, toasted coconut, vanilla and tropical fruit. The palate has pink pepper, barbequed pineapple, brown sugar and apples, alongside a spicy oak note that lingers in the finish. 

Bottled exclusively for the UK market, this Benriach single cask comes from a single Pedro Ximenez sherry cask that was laid down to mature back in 2005 for 13 years. Only 546 bottles were produced, each at a cask strength of 56.4% abv and without chill filtration or colouring.

Apple crumble, sticky toffee pudding and autumnal fruits fill the nose. The apples develop in the palate alongside orange jam and malty sweetness. Simply delicious.
