One for those looking to try a truly unique expression.
Green apple, coconut, sea salt salinity and herbal thyme arrives on the nose. The palate is malty, with black cherry, dark chocolate, and a lick of peat. The finish continues in this vein, with rich toffee, and sweet and earthy notes.

Wire Works typically matures in majority STR casks, with some bourbon casks, however Alter Ego has flipped this selection on its head. The result is more juicy fruits and buttery biscuit flavour, and slightly more peat, although you’ll recognise the DNA of the English whisky’s previous expressions. Presented at 51.5% abv. One of only 5,393 bottles.
Expect sweet notes of of vanilla and caramel on the nose, with flavours of lemon meringue, tropical fruit sweets and buttery biscuits on the palate. A light hit of peat comes forth on the finish.
