Matured in traditional American bourbon barrels and finished in Pedro Ximenez Sherry casks sourced from the bodegas of Jerez de la Prontera in Andalucia, Spain, this creamy, fruity whisky from the BenRiach distillery in Speyside is bottled at 46% abv.The nose offers creamy spices, chocolate and sugar-coated almonds with an undercurrent of sweet sultanas and dark fruit cake. The palate merges dark chocolate and coffee beans with sweet dates and fresh figs, while a peppered vintage oak and cigar box spices add to the long contrasting finish.
