That Boutique-y Rum Company Tencane 14 Year Old Batch 1
$105.00 Availability: In StockReleased as a part of That Boutique-y Rum Company’s Cinema Labels collection, this 14-year-old pot still rum was distilled at Tencane distillery in Trinidad & Tobago, before finding its way to the UK. Presented at a robust 60.4% abv. The label is inspired by 1940’s era Black and White film Noir, to reflect the mysterious storied history of this cask: “The Case of the Mysterious Maturation”.Â
On the nose, we find figs, prunes, and a honeycomb sweetness that rubs up against tobacco and leather, rich bourbon vanilla and a hint of pimento. The palate is sweet and jammy, with blackberries, tamarind and under ripe pineapple flavours. A warming finish follows, bringing lots of tannic, toasty oak and dried hazelnuts.

That Boutique-y Whisky Company Aultmore 13 Year Old Batch 18
$70.00 Availability: In StockReleased as a part of That Boutique-y Whisky Company’s Cinema Labels collection, this 13-year-old Aultmore expression spent most of its life in refill ex-bourbon casks before being re-racked by the independent bottlers into a single first-fill bourbon cask in 2019. ‘Fight Club’ is the movie inspiration behind this label, chosen as the liquid tasted ‘soapy’ to Boutique-y before further maturation. Presented at 50% abv and one of only 418 bottles.
Expect aromas of panettone, macaroons, grist and subtle citrus, with a palate reminscent of pilsner lager with a wedge of lime. Summer grasses and green tea bitterness follows, before a chalky, grassy finish lingering with pepper.

$123.00 Availability: In StockReleased as a part of That Boutique-y Whisky Company’s Cinema Labels collection, this 21-year-old ‘teaspooned’ Speyside Blended Malt is limited to only 199 bottles. ‘Star Trek’ serves as the inspiration behind this label, a riff on ‘The Final Frontier’ movie poster. That’s the USS Wardhead (or an upside down still) complete with two teaspoons, with two lead characters who you might recognise.
Expect aromas of stewed apples, pears and plums, green melon, and honey. The palate is full of green apples and juicy green gages, before giving way to orange barley water, honey and beeswax.

That Boutique-y Whisky Company Glen Garioch 33 Year Old Batch 8
$349.00 Availability: In StockReleased as a part of That Boutique-y Whisky Company’s Cinema Labels collection, this glorious 33-year-old Glen Garioch expression is an old-school Highland whisky – from the days when the distillery was floor malting their own malt using Highland peat. This whisky is inspired by the infamous 33-year-old Scotch in Quentin Tarantino’s ‘Inglorious Basterds’, where the British/American way of signalling 3 is used, catching out the spy when calling for a whisky. Presented at 46.2% abv.
Expect notes of overripe apples and green bananas on the nose, along with hints of camphor, pine and bread dough. The palate is simply sublime, with a distinct waxiness. Mulled cider, apricot compote and white pepper flavours fade to a long, honeyed finish with a little peppery spice.

$79.00 Availability: In StockReleased as a part of That Boutique-y Whisky Company’s Cinema Labels collection, this five-year-old expression from Nc’nean has been aged in an STR red wine cask. Based in the Western Highlands, Nc’nean is the first fully organic distillery powered by 100% renewable energy in Scotland. ‘Whisky Galore’ is the movie inspiration behind this label, which shows distillery founder Annabel Thomas leading her group carrying ‘Doug Treats’ (Doug being the premises resident dog). Presented at a natural cask strength of 60.1% abv.
Expect fragrant aromas of British summer hedgerows, nectarines, peaches, ripe apples, honey and some gentle spices. More sweet peaches come though on the palate, along with vanilla custard, summer grasses, liquorice and mixed spice. The short finish is sweet and fruity.

$97.00 Availability: In StockReleased as a part of That Boutique-y Whisky Company’s Cinema Labels collection, this 25-year-old single grain whisky from North British Distillery in Edinburgh has been bottled at at natural cask strength of 56.5% abv. Their quality mashbill is majority corn, with 20% malted barley. The tongue-in-cheek label is a spin on ‘Trainspotting’, as the Boutique-y team go ‘Grainspotting’.
Expect aromas of dried coconut, banana, papaya, and pineapple, with a suggestion of herbal banana leaf. An explosion of dried tropical fruits on the palate, accompanied by some white chocolate, and chilli heat. The finish is short and sweet, with a little peppery warmth.

They use six row barley from the foothills of the Himalayas, resulting in a distinct tannic character. For this Indian single malt, Boutique-y whisky have chosen to represent Paul John as a Bollywood Bond on their funky label. Presented at 47.6% abv.
Expect aromas of sooty smoke, with bitter dark chocolate, subtle mint, charred wood and salted caramel. The palate is oily and mouth filling. Big chocolate cake notes, hints of dark cherry, spicy black pepper and oak, with wood smoke lingering into the long finish.Â

$699.00 Availability: In StockBottled exclusively for us at The Whisky Shop, That Boutique-y Whisky Company present this magnificent 29-year-old Springbank expression. Distilled in Campbeltown in 1993, the single malt was matured within a single re-fill sherry Hogshead cask, before being decanted at 43.8% abv. One of only 136 bottles.
On the nose, gentle notes of peat smoke combine delicately with woody spices and soy sauce. Â Subtle hints of Umami comes to fore on the palate, with a complex array of rich meaty characteristics that mix brilliantly with the smoky undertones that are a constant within this epic Springbank. The finish is complex and deep. Expect to encounter a welcome fresh sherry influence combined with further delicate waves of peat smoke, zesty marmalade and black olives.

The Claret Jug, officially named the “Golf Champion Trophy”, is the prestigious trophy awarded annually to the winner of The Open Championship, one of golf’s four major tournaments. Created in 1872 and first awarded in 1873, it is made of sterling silver, weighs roughly 5.5 lbs, and replaced the original Challenge Belt.
Loch Lomond Whiskies has been the “Official Spirit of The Open” and AIG Women’s Open since 2018, recently renewing the partnership to continue through 2026. They produce exclusive, limited-edition single malt whiskies for each championship, often featuring unique cask finishes curated by Master Blender Michael Henry, which are released annually to celebrate the tournament.
