Released as a part of That Boutique-y Whisky Company’s Cinema Labels collection, this 21-year-old ‘teaspooned’ Speyside Blended Malt is limited to only 199 bottles. ‘Star Trek’ serves as the inspiration behind this label, a riff on ‘The Final Frontier’ movie poster. That’s the USS Wardhead (or an upside down still) complete with two teaspoons, with two lead characters who you might recognise.
Expect aromas of stewed apples, pears and plums, green melon, and honey. The palate is full of green apples and juicy green gages, before giving way to orange barley water, honey and beeswax.
