Distilled, matured and bottled on Islay alone, the 10 year old has been crafted using first-fill and second-fill American whiskey casks as well as a proportion of second-fill French wine casks. This pack includes two finely crafted whisky glasses making it the perfect gift for peat lovers.
The nose has the characteristic Port Charlotte smoke, with sweeter caramel, fudge and vanilla custard mingling alongside ginger, cloves and nutmeg. The palate is soft with a loose smoke and sweet coconut, vanilla, sherbet lemon and oak notes coming to the fore, with smoked oyster and sun-baked salty sand. The finish is smoky with banoffee pie, mango, apple and sweet malt.

$175.00 Availability: In StockPacked with the now signature smoky punch of Bruichladdich’s Port Charlotte drams at 40PPM, the Port Charlotte 18-Year-Old 2025 is yet another show stopping limited annual release from the distillery, with only 8000 bottles in circulation.
Undergoing a complex marriage of maturations, the liquid was first housed in a combination of first fill bourbon casks and second fill sherry casks, whilst a small amount was placed in a combination of sherry, French oak, and bourbon barrels. The final spirits were then married for bottling at 51.5% abv.

$123.00 Availability: In StockFrom Bruichladdich distillery, the Islay icons have expertly elevated their heavily peated Port Charlotte expression by fully maturing the spirit in Marsala wine casks. After a nine-year slumber, the single malt was bottled at a cask strength of 56% abv and released as a part of their Cask Exploration series. A gorgeously elegant balance of fruit and peat.
Expect notes of clove, stone fruits and vanilla bean, which lead to a palate of stewed peaches, caramel and black pepper, with an undercurrent of earthy peat. On the finish, the toastiness comes through with notes of soot, charred oak and leather.

$123.00 Availability: In StockBruichladdich present this wonderfully bbq smoky sweet expression, released as a part of their heavily peated Port Charlotte range. The single malt has been made with 100% Islay barley, and matured in a combination of sherry butts and American oak casks with a finish in Sauternes wine casks. Bottled at 55.2% abv, and free from chill filtration.
Expect fruity and floral notes on the nose, with touches of peach, brown sugar, honeysuckle and apricot that intertwine with waves of heather peat smoke. On the palate, we find flavours of stem ginger, roasted almonds, dried fruit, earthy peat, leather, vanilla and oak, which lead into notes of tobacco, citrus and iodine on the close.

Port Charlotte 9 Year Old 2013 PMC:01 Pomerol Cask
$123.00 Availability: In StockFrom Bruichladdich distillery, comes the sixth release in their heavily peated Cask Exploration series. The nine -year old underwent four years in first-fill bourbon barrels, before spending a further five years in fine Pomerol casks. The single malt expertly balances peat smoke and Islay minerality with fruity and floral notes imparted from the French red wine. Bottled at 54.5% abv, and free from chill filtration.
On the nose, we find waves of peat smoke and red fruits, followed by pear, rose, vanilla, toasted oak and hints of mixed spice. The palate bursts with flavours of malt sugar and bold peat smoke, along with succulent blackberries, plum and aged leather. Maritime notes dominate on the finish, with lingering smoke and a hint of lemon.

Port Charlotte Islay Barley 2013
$67.00 Availability: In StockThis heavily peated Islay single malt whisky combines a respect for the Islay island with contemporary practices. Using only Islay-grown barley, this expression has a complex maturation process. The spirit firstly spends seven years in ex-American whiskey barrels, before then being finished in French wine casks, and then being married back together for bottling. This gives is a complex layering of delicate flavours. Using Islay spring water in its bottling, it is free from chill filtration and is colouring free.
It has a colouring of pale gorse flowers and has a strength of 50% abv. The aromas that arrive at the nose are those of red berry fruits and floral notes which follow on the palate. These are joined by toasted oak notes and hints of coffee and chocolate, before leading to a dramatic smoky finish. A top-drawer dram from Bruichladdich.

$87.00 Availability: In StockA heavily peated release from Islay icons, Bruichladdich, this Port Charlotte expression has been matured for seven years in a combination of first-fill bourbon, second-fill virgin oak, and second-fill Bordeaux wine casks. Made from 100% Islay barley from a handful of local farming partners, the whisky is a celebration of the island’s agriculture. Bottled at 50% abv, and peated to 40 PPM.
Expect aromas of peat embers and malty digestive biscuit, with hints of honey, exotic fruits and mixed spice. The palate opens with a citrus tang and heather peat smoke flavour, which lead to a sandy minerality, toasted oak, peach, melon and tobacco. On the finish, sweet stoned fruits linger along with a dry barbeque note.

Distilled in 2010 from barley peated to 40ppm, this single malt has been matured in a 50/50 split of first-fill American whiskey barrels and second-fill French wine barriques before being married together for one year in high provenance MR casks from the Bordeaux left bank.
The nose has powerful peat smoke with summer fruits and vanilla. The palate brings more peat and sweet fruits with toasted oak, maple syrup and chocolate coated coffee emerging, before a medicinal smoke in the finish with drying oak and creamy vanilla.

Port Charlotte OLC: 01 2010 Heavily Peated
$90.00 Availability: In StockPort Charlotte OLC: 01 2010 was distilled in 2010 from a 2009 crop of Scottish barley. The distillate was first filled into ex-Bourbon, ex-Syrah and ex-VDN (vin doux naturel) casks.
The liquid was then transferred into Fernando de Castilla’s oloroso hogsheads in 2018.
The whisky is said to be dry with earthy peat and roasted coffee, lime and figs. This leads to flavours of chocolate and vanilla, finishing with a hint of smoke.

This edition has been matured for a minimum of six years in ex-American oak casks before being transferred for a two-year finish into Pauillac red wine barrels showcasing the distillery’s barbeque smoke character paired with the finest of French oak.
With a rich ruby colour and an abundance of dried fruits and spice, this Port Charlotte is bottled at 56.1% ABV natural cask strength, free from chill filtration and all natural colouring. The nose opens with cloves and ginger along with chocolate, caramelised toffee, and delicate coconut and vanilla notes. On the palate oak and malt lead the flavours, followed by thick smoke, fresh citrus and dried fruit. Peat smoke commands the finish with floral coconut and a salty marine element.

A heavily peated dram, cask selection is made up of a delicious combination of sherry, sauternes, and first and second fill American whiskey casks throughout the 9-year journey. The smoky phenols at 40PPM have added elegance and finesse from the tall narrow-necked stills at Bruichladdich.
The nose shines with stone fruit and a delicate floral perfume with hints of peaches in syrup followed by smoky fudge. The palate has earthy notes of leather and boot polish with a smoky warmth and ripe fruits, finishing up with a citrus tang and more peat.

Safeguarded on Islay, the Remnant Cask, an unusual barrel of timeless worth, was revealed to have touches three generations of Port Ellen history. The cask was then revived with the same liquid it contained a century ago, Walnut brown sherry.
Gemini consists of a bottle of the untouched 1978 vintage of Port Ellen, and a bottle which has been given a period of finishing in this rare and restored remnant cask. Twin whiskies: one, left in its original splendour and the second, rested in this one-of-a-kind cask – in a world first.
The Original boasts a nose of baked pear, maritime scents, faint traces of smoke and soft fudge, with a palate of remarkable freshness. Sweet and spicy, with a smoky warmth and hints of baked apple skins, before a luxurious finish of aromatic sweet smoke. Bottled at 54.9% abv.
The Remnant brings aromas of dark sherry, spirit-soaked prunes and dry oak spice, with hints of tobacco, charred wood, salt and sawdust. These combine to reveal a sweet, rich charred ash smokiness, before an ultra-smooth palate of sumptuous fruits, sweet spice and smoky warmth. The finish is one to be savoured, with intense sweet-smoky flavours and a touch of spice. Bottled at 53.6% abv.
