Another addition to the Hunter Laing celebratory series – The Kinship – this Bruichladdich 18 Year Old dram is another perfectly chosen release.

Bottled at 61.5% abv, the nose is rich and spicy with white pepper, toffee, and macerated red fruits. The palate is chewy with toffee apples, nutmeg, and oak. The finish is dry, lingering, and long.

An independently bottled Bruichladdich expression by Hunter Laing & Co. aged for 31 years and bottled at 54.6% abv, limited to just 173 bottles.

On the nose, there is sea salt, dried lime, and stewed apples. The palate is smooth with lemon peel and spiced fudge before leading into a finish full of chocolate and gentle smoke.

A stunning limited release from Caol Ila. Bottled by Hunter Laing & Co., this expression spent 32 years maturing before 223 bottles were filled at 48.1% abv.

On the nose, there is powerful peat, smoke, and baking spices. The palate has toasted almonds and refreshing orange rind before leading into the smoky, lingering finish. 

Part of The Kinship collection which commemorates construction at the Ardnahoe distillery on Islay, this independently bottled dram by Hunter Laing hails from Islay powerhouse Caol Ila. Hand-picked by Master Distiller, Jim McEwan, this liquid is a robust 33 Year Old sitting at 44.5% abv, and is one of just 300 bottles available worldwide.

The dram is full of delicate peat smoke, softened by caramel notes, poached fruit richness and a waxy mouthfeel. The leathery finish is chewy and lingering with final notes of brine and bonfires.

An extremely rare 44-year-old release from The Glenturret, one of Scotland’s earliest distilleries. This expression was distilled in 1977 and is limited to 163 bottles from a single sherry butt, bottled at 45% abv. As part of The Last Drop 2022 Collection.

Tropical aromas of plums, peahc and mango, thyme sweetness with wood spice and sandalwood. A floral palate with silky sherried tannins, mild spices, oak and liquorice.

Bottled by The Last Drop distillers, this whisky was laid down on the 11th November 1968, when the Tomintoul distillery was less than four years old. After being aged for over five decades, the liquid was then treated to a final 20-month finish in an Amoroso butt. The result is as limited in quantity as it is remarkable in quality. Only 582 bottles were drawn from the cask, at 41.7% abv.

The whisky holds aromas of dark fruits, sweet raisins, and fruitcake. This is followed by a gentle floral fragrance, grassy nettles and notes of toffee, enhanced with a nutty spice. The taste is an explosion of ripe fruits, and richly caramelised apples. A dance of spices and herbs tingles on the tongue, with buttery notes of sticky toffee pudding coming to the fore, before a long and lingering finish of sweet oak and surprising floral notes.

From The Loch Fyne’s single cask collection, this heavily peated Caol Ila single malt has been matured for nine years in refill Hogshead cask #319096. Presented at massive 59.7%, this bottle is one of only 386. 

Expect notes of toffee, intense smoke and butter popcorn. 

Bottled by Loch Fyne Whiskies, the Craigellachie expression has been decanted from a single cask, specially selected from their unique and exceptional cask collection. Aged for 16 years, the Speyside single malt is presented at a massive 67.2% abv. One of only 871 bottles.

A stunning addition to the Loch Fyne Fynest Range, this superb expression has been aged for 22 years, and is bottled at 44.3% abv. The liquid hails from much sought-after Campbeltown distillery, Springbank, and was bottled exclusively for Loch Fyne.
