$74.00 Availability: In StockThis non-age-statement expression has been matured in a combination of Pedro Ximenez and Oloroso sherry casks. The result is a rich, woody, and sherried single malt. This whisky is the eleventh release in the distillery’s Cask Strength series. Bottled at 59.8% abv, the dram boasts a natural deep bronze colour.
This whisky has notes of black treacle, mulled wine, and honey-drizzled nuts on the nose, with some hints of toasted oak coming through. Flavours of maple syrup, cinnamon, and milk chocolate combine with notes of dried fruit on the palate. These flavours move into a long finish full of black cherry, marmalade, and butterscotch.
