Description
This limited edition from The GlenDronach distillery is the 7th release in the GlenDronach Cask Strength batched release. The Master Blender chooses the ideal marriage of Oloroso and Pedro Ximenez sherry casks from Andalucia to create this richly flavoured single malt. Bottled free from chill-filtration at a natural cask strength of 57.9% abv.The nose has cherry brandy and blackberry vines, with wild figs and Highland Toffee. The palate brings a burst of brambles and ripe sultanas before Seville orange and roasted chestnut. The finish has baked apple and damson plum lingering with some chocolate walnuts and whipped cream.
