    Specially selected by Master Blender, Rachel Barrie, from The GlenDonach’s finest sherry casks from 1990, 1992 and 1993, this limited edition Speyside single malt has been aged for at least 24 years in sherry wood. Only 1,487 bottles have been produced of this 9th batch in the Grandeur series, each one individually numbered by hand.The nose is indulgent with stone fruits, roast chestnuts, rich leather and sandalwood. The palate brings a burst of sherry-laced fruitcake before sultanas, baked orange cake and black cherries. The finish is long and smooth with dark chocolate, raisins and a touch of menthol.

This 29-year-old release was distilled in 1989 and matured in oloroso sherry casks before being finished in Pedro Ximenez casks. The result is a masterful expression of complexity and depth, truly befitting a Kingsman. Bottled at a strength of 50.1% abv and presented in a luxurious case adorned with the bespoke Kingsman insignia, this expression is limited to just 3,052 bottles worldwide.

    Expect notes of autumn fruits, treacle and dates, giving way to winter truffle, raisin and cocoa, before a touch of tobacco leaf and blackberry in the deep, rich finish.

The palate opens with cocoa-dusted sultana brioche, with coffee and orange zest notes emerging before a long and velvety note of rich cocoa and dates in the finish.

    True to its name, Glendronach’s Ode to the Embers is a lightly peated expression reminiscent of warm winter evenings breathing in the soft curls of fireside smoke while tucking into a hot fruit crumble. Made partly in homage to an older style of whisky making in which malt kilns were filled with peat smoke, this liquid (48.4% abv) was matured in Oloroso and Pedro Ximinez casks, contrasting its smoke with a sherried sweetness, creating a balanced and tasty dram indeed!

    The nose offers rich aromas of cherry blossom, milk chocolate, and juicy blackberries. On the palate, there are notes of ginger snaps, autumnal spices, and baked apple. The finish is particularly sumptuous with notes of cinnamon and chocolate appearing at the close.

    The nose has plum, bramble and strawberry jam, cherry blossom and sandalwood notes. The palate brings layer upon layer of rich fruits, with blackberries, roasted apple crumble, freshly baked gingerbread and black cherries. The finish has delicious sultanas and orange peel with lingering fruit notes.
