Matured on the remote, north-eastern coastline of Islay, and produced using natural spring water from the Margadale spring, this 12-Year-Old Cask Strength is an undiluted celebration of the distillery’s hugely popular Bunnahabhain 12-Year-Old.  The third annual bottling is presented at a robust 60.1% abv, retaining the full spectrum of flavour from its maturation in sherry casks.

Expect a floral and nutty nose, with marzipan, hazelnut, almond cream and morello cherries. The palate reveals roasted nuts and spice, with butterscotch, toffee, sultanas and hints of coffee, before a lengthy finish of cloves, hazelnut and cocoa.

The 2025 release of Bunnahabhain’s 12 Year Old Cask Strength is a true celebration of the distillery’s unpeated Islay style. Matured on the wild north-eastern coastline of Islay and shaped by its pure spring water and shifting coastal climate, this single malt captures the very essence of its island home. Bottled at a bold 56.4% ABV, it delivers the classic sherry influence that defines Bunnahabhain’s house character.

Predominantly matured in second-fill Oloroso sherry casks, this annual cask-strength release showcases a beautifully nuanced profile where coastal malt, subtle sherry richness and refined spice shine through. 

The nose opens with rich aromas of golden raisins and sun-ripened apricots, balanced by toasted nuts and a delicate floral lift. On the palate, malty sweetness and soft oak weave together with dried fruit, sultanas, and hazelnuts, while a gentle spice adds warmth and depth. The finish is long and satisfying, carrying notes of oak spice and light tobacco with a final whisper of sea salt and cocoa powder.

Bottled at Dundonald Links golf course, this Bunnahabhain expression has been matured for 36 years, before being decanted at 48.7% abv. Housed within a luxurious oak box, the Islay single malt is presented with two branded tumblers for enjoying this exclusive cask bottling with a friend.

The whisky holds aromas of sweet fruits and treacle, with a lingering oak finish. 

“Moine” means “Peated” in Scots Gaelic, and it’s a fitting name for this deliciously peaty dram. This special limited release expression was launched to celebrate Feis Ile 2021. This beautiful coastal single malt is presented at 59.5% abv, free from chill filtration, and arrives with a natural cask-imparted colour. The expression was matured in refill casks before a finish in Bordeaux casks. A truly special expression for the Islay Whisky Festival.

The nose gives aromas of gentle smoke, red berries, and toasted oak. The palate is particularly well-rounded with dark chocolate and thick peat smoke. A lingering finish full of red grape and dark cherry awaits.

Bunnahabhain, the most northerly distillery on Islay since 1881, returns with the eagerly awaited 2025 edition of its 21 Year Old Cask Strength release. Crafted on the distillery’s remote north-eastern shoreline and shaped by pure Margadale spring water, this whisky captures the essence of Bunnahabhain’s much-loved unpeated, sherried style in its most authentic form.

The distillery selected 21 individual casks for this limited release, each one matured for over two decades in traditional ex-Oloroso sherry wood. After 21 years of coastal ageing, the whisky was granted an additional 21-month finish in premium Pedro Ximénez casks, lending a sweeter, richer and more syrup-laden character. Bottled at a natural 53.1% ABV, it offers enthusiasts a true ‘straight-from-the-cask’ experience reminiscent of tasting whisky in Bunnahabhain’s atmospheric warehouses.

The nose presents rich aromas of dried fruits, treacle toffee, and brown sugar, with subtle touches of walnut, leather, and a gentle hint of sea breeze. On the palate, the whisky delivers sweet PX-soaked raisins, cocoa, and chocolate-dipped cherries, with layers of roasted nuts, spiced oak, espresso, and warming cinnamon and clove. The finish is long, warming, and luxuriously textured, lingering on notes of dark chocolate, prunes, and a final whisper of salty sea spray.
