Description
Released to commemorate Fèis Ìle 2024, Bunnahabhain have taken their iconic unpeated Islay spirit and treated it to a three-year finish in Ruby Port Hogsheads. The 14-year-old limited edition is presented at a cask strength of 58.7% abv and is free from chill filtration.
An initial burst of dark chocolate on the nose, which fades to reveal toasted oak, cherries, plum and raspberries with a hint of caramelised walnuts. The palate is spicy but sweet, with flavours of cinnamon, nutmeg, pain au chocolat, redcurrants, pomegranate and sweet malt leading to a lengthy finish of cocoa and spice.
