The second in Old Pulteney’s Coastal Series, this expression was firstly matured in second-fill bourbon casks, before being moved to hand-selected Ruby Port pipes and barriques to absorb the rich flavours of the delicious fortified wine native to the Douro Valley of northern Portugal. This perfect partnership of coastal heritage results in a fragrant, fruity and rich Maritime malt. Bottled at 46% abv.

On the nose, aromas of dried fruits, buttery vanilla, candied orange peel and ginger bread swirl amongst deep undertones of cherries, marzipan and dark chocolate. The sweet and spicy palate brings notes of baked apples, caramelised sugar and cinnamon pastries, with hints of rose water and sea salt before a finish of warming spice and plum jam sweetness.

Old Pulteney Harbour celebrates the distillery’s connection to the sea, taking its name from the point which joins their hometown of Wick to the North Sea. The welcoming and deliciously fragrant Scotch has been matured by the coast in a quartet of hand-selected fine American oak casks, before being bottled at 40% abv.

Expect notes of creamy vanilla and coconut up front, followed by rich citrus of marmalade and tangerines, lemon drizzle cake sweetness and a spicy undertone of fresh oak. The finish turns fruit and spice into Old Pulteney’s signature mellow sea brine.

Bottled at 43.1% abv, you’ll get notes of briny sea air mingling with dried fruits and dark chocolate, tinged with citrus and sea salt. The palate is all waves of sherry sweetness giving way to delicate peat and oak, with that signature saline quality. This dram’s finish is long and considered, lingering pleasantly long after the last drop.
