Distilled at Speyside’s Inchgower distillery in June 2008 and matured in a bourbon barrel for 13 years before being bottled in July 2022, this single cask expression forms part of independent bottler Hunter Laing & Co’s Old Malt Cask range. Just 264 bottles have been produced, each one at a strength of 50% abv.

Expect aromas of custard, heather honey and lemon meringue pie. The palate is gingery and malty with minor vegetal notes. On the close you will find a long and pleasant pepperiness with sweet malt.

Bottled by Hunter Laing & Co. to commemorate the launch of The Ardnahoe single malt, this expression hailing from the isle of Jura has been aged in a single refill hogshead for 15 years. One of just 270 bottles, the whisky is presented at 50% abv, free from chill filtration and at natural colour.

The nose opens clean and fresh, with notes of lemon and vanilla. On the palate, herbal notes intertwine with malted barley, before a malty finish with a touch of orange pith.

Distilled in June 2008, the Old Malt Cask Mortlach 2008 17 Year Old HL21830, is a Speyside dram bottled at 50% abv and packed with an exciting array of flavours. One of only 286 bottles to be drawn from a PX Hogshead, you’ll find the nose packed with liquorice and citrus fruits, and just a touch of vanilla. The palate follows up with notes of green apples, mint and dry oak, while the finish hits you with lingering white pepper.

Released by Hunter Laing as part of their Old Malt Cask collection, this Mortlach expression has been matured in a single refill hogshead (ref. 19262) for 12 years. Bottled at 50% abv, and one of only 516 produced.

Expect aromas of liquorice and chocolate, with a hint of smoke. The palate leads to flavours of red berries and caramel, before a long and lingering finish with a malty sweetness.
