Jose Cuervo Reserva de la Familia is one of the first extra-añejo tequilas to to come onto the market. It is created exclusively from hand-cultivated blue agaves, harvested when at full maturity, after seven to twelve years of growth. This high quality tequila has been aged in French and American oak barrels for at least three years, and bottled at 38% abv.

Debuted in 2021, this Trinidad rum is from the Jung & Wulff range which showcases rums from across the Caribbean. Jung & Wulff is named after two early importers of rum, L.E. Jung and Frederick Wolff, who helped introduce the spirit to cafes and bars across New Orleans way back when.

Trinidad rum comes in at 43% abv and has notes of cinnamon and cumin, followed by zesty orange peel and vegetal, earthy qualities.

This is a dry gin created using 11 Japanese botanicals distilled in six distinct flavour categories including the likes of yellow yuzu, hinoki wood chips, bamboo leaves, gyokuro green tea and sanshō pepper.

 

 

Ki No Bi, meaning ‘beauty of the seasons’ is the first Japanese gin distilled, blended and bottled in Kyoto. Ki No Bi Sei is a navy strength variation made with the same intricate production method as the original Ki No Bi, using 11 botanicals distilled in six distinct flavour categories including: yellow yuzu, hinoki wood chips, bamboo leaves, gyokuro green tea and sanshō pepper. The gin is blended to create a balanced and refreshing flavour, before being bottled at 54.5% ABV.

On the nose, there is a freshness and aromas of yuzu, followed by spicy pepper. The palate reveals ginger spice and juniper, making way for a long and warm finish. In contrast with the original Ki No Bi, which has a delicate and gentle profile, Ki No Bi Sei has a thicker mouthfeel and full-bodied flavour.

Another outstanding release from Foursquare Distillery – introducing Kill Devil Barbados 15 Year Old. This single cask rum was distilled in 2006 and spent 15 years maturing before being bottled at a striking 62.1% abv. Just 266 bottles of this tantalising expression have been produced.

This blended Caribbean rum is a dark and rich blend of the finest Guyana and Jamaica rums, aged for added smoothness and depth in selected white oak casks. Bottled at a powerful 57% abv in a nod to the Royal Navy’s old ‘gunpowder strength’ qualification, it’s perfect in cocktails or served over ice.The nose is intense and tropical with blackened banana, pineapple, peaches and citrus zest. The palate brings more caramelised banana and pineapple, with chocolate and coffee bean flavours emerging.
