Yet another excellent expression from That Boutique-y Rum Company. This independently bottled rum is from the now-closed Caroni distillery where it matured for 24 years. Just 332 bottles have been filled at a robust 61.5% abv.

The nose brings herbal notes complemented by hints of dried fruits and cherry jam. The palate is full of juicy pineapple, golden syrup, and a subtle meaty note before leading into a finish full of toasted oak and Christmas cake.

Hailing from Casa Santana in Columbia, this expression combines molasses-based rums from Columbia and the Caribbean. After a six year maturation, just 220 bottles were filled at 45% abv.
