Description
This blended malt Scotch whisky has been crafted by the renowned independent bottler Wemyss Malts. A family-run operation, Wemyss Malts has ties to the historic Haigs of Cameronbridge distillery. This limited edition has been crafted with single malts from the Highlands, Speyside and Bunnahabhain distilelry on Islay. Matured in sherry hogsheads for at least a quarter of a century, this expression has been bottled at 42.3% abv.
The nose has rich blackcurrant and maple toffe with woody spice and cigar leaf. The palate bring rich dried fruits, dates, figs, maraschino cherries and apricots, with a touch of milk chocolate. The finish is long and lingering with wood spice and velvety leather notes.
