Single Cask Nation is the leading independent bottler in the United States, recognised with industry awards since its inception in 2011. This 2011 Glen Garioch bottling forms part of their tenth global release. 

Aged for 14 years, including a two-year finish in a first-fill bourbon hogshead, this whisky displays all the hallmarks that have made the distillery a favourite, from warm grist and fresh malt to a lively, glowing energy. Bottled at 50.1% abv, it is a spirited and characterful Highland malt.

Aromas of cereal sweetness lead into bright, clean flavours that highlight the spirit’s natural vigour. There is an underlying richness, balanced with a gentle freshness throughout. 

An 18-year-old single malt from Glen Grant bottled by Single Cask Nation, this elegant dram showcases the lighter, fruity style for which the distillery is so well known. Distilled in 2006 the whisky spent four years finishing in a 2nd fill #4 char oak barrel. Bottled at 57.6% ABV, this is a highly limited release of just 180 bottles.

On the nose, it bursts with juicy pear, icing sugar, lemon drops, and a fruit sweetness. The palate leans into flavours of vanilla custard, peach melba, and ripe pear. The finish is crisp and refreshing, with notes of apple and malty biscuits.

A lively and spirited Speyside dram, the Knockdhu 10 Year Old was distilled in October 2014 and matured for 7 years in a 1st fill Pedro Ximénez sherry hogshead. Bottled at a bold 58% ABV, and with 285 bottles released, it’s a proper treat for fans of flavour and collectors alike!

On the nose, expect toffee and roasted hazelnuts with a hint of chewy leather, and a warming sherry influence. The palate is zesty with red berries, red currants, tart cherries, and a touch of pink grapefruit. The finish is full of chocolate mousse and orange.

Bottled by Single Cask Nation, America’s leading independent bottler, this Linkwood expression has been lovingly matured in a single first-fill French oak hogshead for 12 years. Presented at a cask strength of 55.2% abv, just 270 bottles were filled.

Aromas of fresh cut grass, peach blossom, malty biscuits and exotic spices mix with a hint of salinity, before an earthy palate of malted barley, citrus, green apple and subtle tobacco. The finish is peppery and citrus-y, with hints of mixed spice and cocoa.

Distilled at the Macduff Distillery and bottled in 2024, this 16-year-old Speyside single malt is part of Single Cask Nation’s ever-growing list of fantastic drams. A limited-edition with just 259 bottles made, the liquid was finished in a first-fill American oak hogshead and bottled at 56.8% abv. 

Nose: Opens with a lingonberry tartness that gives way to warm apple pie, melted butter, warm toffee, toasted oats, roasted nuts, and powdered ginger with hints of honeysuckle around the edges.

Palate: Wonderfully complex with warm fruit compote, toasted buttered oats, coffee & vanilla ice cream, crisp red apples, overripe peach, and baked pears with ginger.

Finish: Long and pleasantly drying with shaved dark chocolate, tart fruits, and lingering ginger spice.

The Single Cask Nation Ruadh Mhor 2013 is a bold and smoky Highland single malt from the Glenturret distillery. Aged for 11 years, it spent the final 3 in a first-fill new charred oak hogshead, intensifying its rich peat and barbecue notes. Distilled in July 2013 and bottled at 55.9% ABV, this cask-strength dram delivers a unique flavour profile, with hints of smoky sour cherries and charred wood. Drawn from cask #171238, just 307 bottles were produced, making it a rare and characterful release. A standout expression for fans of peated whisky looking for something a little different.

This Single Cask Nation Tobermory 2008 16 Year Old is a limited edition, showcasing the unique character of the Tobermory distillery. Aged for 16 years in a  in a refill french oak barrique and bottled at 55.7% ABV, it has not been chill-filtered, retaining its natural richness. The whisky combines both the distillery’s unpeated and peated expressions, creating a harmonious dram with layers of complexity, ranging from fruity sweetness to a subtle maritime influence. 

The Single Cask Nation Tormore 2014 10 Year Old is a bold and characterful Speyside single malt. Matured for a decade, with the final four years spent in a first-fill new charred oak hogshead, it offers a rich depth and pronounced nuttiness. Bottled at a cask strength of 57.2% ABV, this expression comes from cask #170453, with just 300 bottles released. Distilled in October 2014, it highlights the rising reputation of Tormore under new ownership. This limited release is a striking example of Speyside’s complexity and charm.

This rare 11-year-old single malt, distilled at Laphroaig in 2014, hails from the storied Isle of Islay and showcases the distillery’s distinctive balance of sweet, salty maritime character and deeply phenolic smoke. Matured in a single refill sherry hogshead (Cask 211), it yielded just 338 bottles at a robust natural strength of 64.9% abv. An unchillfiltered, naturally coloured expression full of character.

Expect a nose of yellow plum, gooseberry and toasted oats, enriched by cedar wood and freshly scorched pine needles. On the palate, charred yellow peppers intertwine with savoury spice and cigar smoke, brightened by a lift of fresh lemon citrus. The finish is refined and lingering, recalling the embers of a well-fired sherry cask. 

Bottled as a part of The Single Malts of Scotland Reserve Cask’s Parcel No.12, this expression hails from Ben Nevis distillery on the outskirts of Fort William in the Scottish Highlands. Made from a small batch of four refill butts, the single malt was distilled in 2013, and aged for nine years before being decanted at 48% abv.

The nose is fat and rich with dusty dark chocolate, sultanas, dried mango and hazelnut. On the palate, flavours of charred marshmallow, kirsch chocolate, almonds and dried fruits coat the tongue, before a finish of dried mango and a touch of mandarin.
