Sometimes words can only go so far. This is a blended whisky like no other, the crème de la crème of Chivas’ range. This blend is comprised of more than 20 of the rarest whiskies to be found in Scotland, a good deal of which are from ghost distilleries that can no longer be enjoyed. Divinely balanced by the masters at Chivas Regal, this is a highly limited yearly release. Arriving in a positively regal crystal decanter, hand-blown and hand-finished by Dartington Crystal, this is one that holds it own in any whisky collection.

A deep, rich, fruity, honey-sweet nose is complemented with notes of ripe pears, dark chocolate, and orange cream. Syrup and vanilla follow on the palate, which is full, sweet, fruity, with a lingering note of hazelnut. The finish is outstandingly long, sweet, and full of rich flavours. A curtain-closer of a dram.

Ultis is the first ever blended malt from Chivas Regal and pays homage to five generations of Master Blenders who have championed the Chivas house style since 1909. Crafted with malt from Chivas Regal’s five signature Speyside distilleries: Tormore, Longmorn, Strathisla, Allt-a-Bhainne, and Braeval; this beautifully presented whisky is bottled at 40% abv.The nose is rich with honey and fruits. The palate brings poached pears and oranges with drying notes of barley, before a sweet finish with a ginger kick.
