The nose brings fresh cinnamon, Bakewell tart, and glazed cherries. The palate brings candied orange, dark chocolate, and jasmine. The finish brings gentle spices and soft fruits.

The Highland expression was bottled in 2022 by Duncan Taylor exclusively for The Whisky Shop at 54.1% abv. Just 90 bottles of this ultra-rare dram were produced.
On the nose, there is fresh melon, fresh vanilla, and tangerine jelly. The palate has a waxy character and is full of dates, green tea, liquorice, orchard fruit. The finish has hazelnut, soft sherry notes, and toasted marshmallows.

The expression is mountain fresh and herbal on the nose. The palate perfectly balances treacle sweetness with lime citrus. The finish is long with notes of espresso and praline.

The Sassenach Wild Scottish Gin
$58.00 Availability: In StockThis tasty Scottish gin was crafted by Outlander actor Sam Heughan, in collaboration with Crafty Distillery in Newton Stewart. Located near his hometown in Dumfries and Galloway, the gin was made to reflect the flavours of his childhood in the surrounding area. Crab apples, rhubarb, and fragrant pink heather grew in abundance, and so these locally foraged botanicals were utilised in the expression, alongside Scottish juniper, pine resin, bramble leaf and toasted oats.
Noted for its creamy, soft mouthfeel, the juniper-forward London Dry style gin is balanced with apple, rhubarb and subtle floral notes. The crisp, fresh finish brings more fresh fruits, with an underlying spice and earthy tones.
