Description
This tasty Scottish gin was crafted by Outlander actor Sam Heughan, in collaboration with Crafty Distillery in Newton Stewart. Located near his hometown in Dumfries and Galloway, the gin was made to reflect the flavours of his childhood in the surrounding area. Crab apples, rhubarb, and fragrant pink heather grew in abundance, and so these locally foraged botanicals were utilised in the expression, alongside Scottish juniper, pine resin, bramble leaf and toasted oats.
Noted for its creamy, soft mouthfeel, the juniper-forward London Dry style gin is balanced with apple, rhubarb and subtle floral notes. The crisp, fresh finish brings more fresh fruits, with an underlying spice and earthy tones.
