The nose gives notes of green apple and grapefruit aromas, before the mature oak character shines through. Toasted oak and cigar box notes arrive on the palate, along with green apple and gooseberry. The finish is long, with soft medicinal peatiness and wood smoke.

This expression was created in collaboration with 2011 Open Champion golfer, Darren Clarke, whose signature it bears. Bottled at 50.3% abv, this expression has the characteristic fruitiness of Loch Lomond Whiskies, with a rich mouth-feel and sweet notes of honey and tropical fruits. -
Loch Lomond 1993 29 Year Old Mizunara Cask
$1,499.00 Availability: In StockIn celebration of the historic 150th Open, The Loch Lomond Mizunara 1993 has been crafted in order to honour all of those who have participated in the historic yearly golf tournament. The 29 year old single malt was aged in American Oak casks, with a finish in incredibly rare Japanese Mizunara oak casks. Famously delicate and difficult to work with, the whisky benefits greatly from the gorgeous flavours imparted by the 200-year-old oak. Presented at 52.8% abv, and one of only 150 bottles.
Expect aromas of banana, apple and fragrant spice, which lead to a palate full of toasted oak, caramel, apple, ginger and cinnamon. On the close, we find notes of caramelised sugar with waves of spicy clove and sandalwood.Â

The liquid was laid down in 1998, and matured for 24 years in refill bourbon casks, before being hand-selected to be finished for 12 months in the finest Oloroso sherry casks. One of 151 limited-edition bottles. Presented at a cask strength of 43.2%, with natural colour and free from chill filtration.Â
Expect a nose full of tropical fruit and citrus scents, before leading to a palate of ripe peach, juicy pineapple, dried orange peel, raisins, toasted almonds and warming spice. The finish lingers with delectable brown sugar and vanilla flavours.

Loch Lomond 1999 22 Year Old Open Course Collection 2022
$219.00 Availability: In StockA rich and elegant 22-year-old single malt from Loch Lomond crafted to celebrate their collaboration with The Open, currently in its 150th edition and held this year at the ‘Home of Golf’ at St. Andrews Old Course.
Only 4000 bottles of The Open Course Edition 2022 were created by Master Blender Michael Henry, who decided on an initial maturation in American oak casks followed by a 36 month finish in Haut-Médoc Claret barriques, finally bottling free from chill filtration at 48.2% cask strength.
Aromas of stewed apple, pear and black cherry notes are followed by vanilla, dark chocolate, warming ginger spice, all finishing up with a gentle wood smoke.

Loch Lomond 20 Year Old Open Course Collection Royal St George’s
$170.00 Availability: In StockLoch Lomond’s Open Course Collection Royal St Georges, a 20-year-old single malt, is the result of a collaboration between professional golfer Darren Clarke and Loch Lomond Whiskies Master Blender Michael Henry.
Michael’s choice of casks, specially commissioned English Virgin Oak, bring out the signature fruit character created by the innovative stills at the Loch Lomond Distillery. Bottled in a traditional artisanal manner, this expression comes at a cask strength of 50.2% abv, without chill filtration or added colouring.Â
Spiced apple, elderflower and vanilla are traced in the nose. The palate opens with a caramel sweetness, green apple and honeydew melon then toasted oak and clove of spice before a dry, lingering finish of lime citrus, cumin and ginger.

$199.00 Availability: In StockCrafted to celebrate the 151st Open at Royal Liverpool, this spectacular 22 year old Loch Lomond expression is limited to only 4,500 bottles. Distilled using a combination of their unique Straight Neck pot stills and traditional Swan Neck stills, the spirit was then matured for over two decades solely in American oak casks. Certified organic, free from chill filtration and at natural colour. Presented at 48.2% abv.
On the nose we find aromas of honey, peach, melon, lemon and a hint of stem ginger. Leading to the palate, the expression explodes with tropical flavours of grapefruit, pineapple and mango, along with notes of sweet vanilla and caramel. The finish is long and spicy, with touches of ginger, cinnamon and toasted oak.

This Highland Single Malt was distilled in February 2001 and spent 16 years maturing in cask no. 16/329-2 before bottling in April 2017. Presented non chill-filtered at a cask strength of 56.5% abv, only 384 bottles have been produced.There’s green apples and white grapes on the nose, with a fragrant top note of freshly laundered linen. Gentle peat smoke and toasted oak in the mouth, followed by poached pear and fresh vanilla. There’s a burst of ginger and cinnamon before a suggestion of brown bread in the long warming finish. -

Loch Lomond 2004 Colin Montgomerie Single Cask

This unpeated expression was distilled at Loch Lomond distillery in May 2004 using the straight neck pot still. Matured in a recharred Amercian oak butt (#1912) for more than a decade, this single cask expression was specially selected by golfer Colin Montgomerie in partnership with Master Distiller Michael Henry and bottled in celebration of the 2018 Open golf championship at Carnoustie.
Bottled at 51.2% abv, only 324 bottles were produced, each one bearing the signature of Montgomerie. Rich and lush with soft candied notes and a nutty spice. Elegant oak and sweet vanilla mingle with spicy ginger and melted brown sugar.

Loch Lomond 2004 Single Cask
$99.00 Availability: In StockDistilled in October 2004 and matured for more than 14 years in a single cask (#15/624-1), this Highland single malt has been bottled exclusively for The Whisky Shop in May 2019. Released at a cask strength of 54.4% abv free from chill filtration, just 267 bottles have been produced.
There is a beautiful depth of flavour with a delicate balance of cloves, allspice and ginger, followed by luscious fruit cake notes of raisins, sultanas and dates.

Loch Lomond 2006 #18/550-12
$72.00 Availability: In StockThis single malt Scotch whisky has been specially selected by The Whisky Shop, exclusively for our customers. Crafted at Loch Lomond distillery with heavily peated barley, it was distilled in March 2006 and matured in a single first fill Tawny port hogshead for almost 14 years. Bottled in February 2020 at a natural cask strength of 53.1% abv, just 315 bottles were filled.
Sweet peat and salted caramel to the fore, with cinnamon and baked apple emerging amongst raisins and golden syrup. A hint of nutmeg and clove-studded orange mellow to reveal melted brown sugar and vanilla oak spice in the finish.

The expression was distilled in 2011 and spent its lifetime maturing in a first fill bourbon barrel before being bottled at 58.4% abv. Just 250 bottles of this single cask expression have been filled.
Expect fresh vanilla pod and lemon posset on the nose. On the palate there is red apple and sweet caramel sauce before leading into the sweet finish full of candied citrus peels, peach, and sugared almonds.

An exclusive cask, this was matured in a first-fill ex-Bordeaux red wine hogshead cask, this is a 10-year-old Highland single malt from the ever-versatile Loch Lomond Distillery. Distilled in 2011, this is an unpeated, cask strength, free from chill filtration dram with a natural colour. Limited to only 320 bottles, this is an expression that can really hold its own against much older whiskies.
Pale amber in colour, the nose has soft, floral aromas with a slightly winey characteristic. The palate is fruity and delicate, with sweet notes of apple and lychees. The finish is drying and gives a lovely little kick of spice.
