On the nose, aromas of orange oil, vanilla pods, and almonds fill the nose, before a smooth palate of ginger, rose water, vanilla and pear. The finish is sweet, spicy and with a slight hint of pepper.

$635.00 Availability: In StockThe Glenrothes believe in letting its expressions do the talking. This award-winning 25-year-old dram is from the Soleo Collection. It matured in a high proportion of first-fill sherry seasoned oak cask and bottled at 43% abv. It has a natural colour and is free from chill filtration.
One can expect mango, pineapple, and a little cedar woodiness on the nose. Coriander, violets, and creamy salted caramel ice cream on the palate. The finish is long, lasting, and gives sharp little kicks of citrus and floral notes.

Carefully matured for 25 years in a first fill sherry butt, this was distilled in 1995. 595 bottles have been produced of this Speyside whisky from the Glentauchers Distillery and arrives at a cask strength 57% abv. This expression is free from colouring, or chill filtration.
Expect notes of sweet vanilla, red cherries and chocolate on the nose. The palate is sweet, yet with a generous helping of spice, with rich orange marmalade, stewed fruits and oak. The finish holds lingering aniseed, with a hint of smoke. A sumptuous dram.

Distilled in 2010 and bottled in 2023, the Glentauchers expression has been matured in a single carefully selected refill hogshead for 12 years. Presented at 46% abv, free from chill filtration and at natural colour. One of only 391 bottles.
Expect notes of honey drizzled summer fruits on the nose, leading to a palate full of strawberries, raspberries, brown sugar and sweet malt flavours which linger on well into the finish.

The label represents the distillery’s history and its experiments with “silent malt” which is malt distilled in column stills. Unfortunately the trend didn’t catch on and everyone chose to use copper pot stills. A fun fact nevertheless!
