Housed in a uniquely crafted circular vessel symbolising the circle of life and the ongoing journey from the past to the future, TIME : SPACE Mastery is a testament to The Macallan’s enduring legacy of excellence. On the nose, there are aromas of Medjool dates, sweet baked figs and rich milk chocolate, which are accompanied by delicate hints of honey and tropical character. The palate shines with sweet sherry-seasoned dried fruits, orange marmalade and honeycomb, alongside notes of ginger and cinnamon before bursts of caramelised pineapple and creamy vanilla on the finish.

A very rare Macallan, distilled a quarter of a century ago in 1997, this bottling is released as a part of Signatory Vintage’s Cask Strength Collection. Matured for its entire lifetime in a single first-fill Oloroso sherry butt, and bottled at a bold 54.8% abv. The bottle is one of only 649. 

Bottled by Gordon and MacPhail, this rare Macallan Speymalt expression has been matured for 25 years in a first fill sherry butt. Distilled in 2000, the whisky was then bottled in 2025 at 58.5% abv.

On the nose, expect stewed red fruits, dates, and dark chocolate. The palate is packed with flavour, offering juicy bursts of orange zest, the richness of toasted hazelnuts, and a ginger-y kick of spice. On the finish, oak and marzipan make an appareance, giving this dram a well-rounded, medium-bodied close.

This exceptional Macallan single cask has been attentively tended to and matured in the highest quality casks selected by Gordon & MacPhail. Bottled at 53.9% abv, this 22-year-old dram was matured in a first-fill sherry hogshead, and limited to just 318 bottles.

As with all the Connoisseurs Choice bottlings, this liquid was chosen for its exceptional quality of cask, strength, and flavour. Matured for 20 years in a first-fill Sherry Hogshead, the liquid was bottled at a slightly higher abv of 59.1%, giving it strength of character as well as rich sherry flavour.

The resulting golden-hued dram has aromas of stewed plums with cinnamon, and milk chocolate. The palate holds more stewed fruits – think summer berries – as well as the crisp sweetness of red apples, and a spicy kick of pepper. The finish lingers, with fresh citrus and mature oak notes.  

The Speymalt from Macallan Distillery range features a collection of premium Single Malts, each aged in meticulously selected casks by Gordon and MacPhail. This exclusive single cask expression, available only through The Whisky Shop, is limited to just 336 bottles and boasts a robust 60.5% ABV. On the nose, it offers rich milk chocolate notes complemented by orange zest and raspberry compote. The palate presents a delightful spice blend of black pepper, stewed fruit, and mixed nuts, while the finish leaves a lasting impression of toasted oak and fruit cake.
