Inspired by the natural colour of The Macallan’s whisky, the renowned Pantone Color Institute have created a unique and complex shade of purple especially for this release. Made with a vatting of 525 American oak casks from three distinguished bodegas, each one primarily chosen for its colour and matched to their closest Pantone colour references, this expression has been bottled at a strength of 48.5% abv, at natural colour – naturally.
The nose has sweet vanilla toffee and nutmeg with oak, ginger, lemon basil and pear. The palate brings sweet caramel, poached peach and ripe pear notes, before spicy nutmeg and ginger emerge in the long finish.

$201.00 Availability: In StockThis limited edition expression from The Macallan has been produced with a portion of whisky distilled from barley grown on The Macallan’s home of Easter Elchies Estate. Matured exclusively in sherry seasoned butts and hogsheads, this expression is presented in a beautiful case with aerial photography of the barley fields surrounding the new £140 million distillery.
The nose opens with warm cinnamon wood spice and orange oil, moving into dried fruits with a sweet lemon curd and banoffee pie. The palate has more of that spice with dry oak, raisin and figs, finishing up with more citrus sweetness.

Macallan Exceptional Single Cask 1950
$44,750.00 Availability: In StockAn incredible release in the Exceptional Single Cask series, this Speyside single malt was distilled at The Macallan while rationing was still in force. Laid down in a first fill American oak sherry butt (#1683) on 9th November 1950, this single cask was left to mature in The Macallan warehouses for almost seven decades before it was chosen for bottling in 2018. Limited to just 336 bottles at a natural cask strength of 53.4% abv, this 67-year-old expression is truly magnificent.
Selected for bottling by Macallan Whisky Maker, Nick Savage, this expression is said to have aromas of polished antique oak, delicate peaches and vanilla. The palate is noted for its intense antique oak with wood spices, orange peel zest, warm root ginger and subtle hints of peat. The finish is long with a dry sweetness and peat.

This addition to The Macallan Exceptional Single Cask series was distilled in January 1997 and spent 22 years maturing in a sherry butt before being bottled at 56.7% abv. There were just 606 bottles of this ultra-rare Speyside expression produced.
This whisky has baking spices and sweet orange oil on the nose. On the palate, there is dried fruit and sweet honey before leading into a finish full of soft oak and lingering spice.

The cask was reserved in April 2019 by Sarah Burgess for inclusion in the prestigious ESC series. Bottled in August of that year at a natural cask strength of 56.7% abv, just 606 bottles have been produced.
The nose has sweet cherry and oak notes, with vanilla, ginger spice and figs all emerging. The palate brings a sweet raisin influence from the sherry butt, with an oak spice and nutmeg complementing ginger and chocolate notes. The finish is medium length with oak spice developing into a lingering sweetness.

The cask was reserved in April 2019 by Whisky Maker Sarah Burgess for inclusion in the prestigious ESC series. Bottled in August of that year at a natural cask strength of 57.6% abv, just 581 bottles were produced as an exclusive for the European, Asian and Global Travel Retail markets, with bottles also available direct from The Macallan.
The nose has smoked almonds and cloves, with orange oil, dried fruits and mature oak. The palate brings a sweet and spicy ginger to the fore, with oak spice, liquorice and bitter orange, before a medium length finish with a dry nuttiness.

Macallan Fine Oak 21 Year Old

Incredibly rare and highly sought after, this single malt has been triple matured in a combination of sherry seasoned Spanish oak casks, sherry seasoned American oak casks, and bourbon seasoned American oak casks. The result is a sumptuously smooth and stunningly intricate expression.
The nose is rich and striking, with notes of honey and passionfruit appearing. The palate is equally rich, with flavours of Christmas cake and sweet orange peel dancing across the tongue. This leads into the long and slightly smoky finish. A truly accomplished dram.

Presented with a lithographic print of the new distillery signed by lead architect Graham Stirk, printed on archival cotton paper from Italian fine art paper mill Magnani and printed with one of only two remaining map printing presses in the UK, The Macallan Genesis is a piece of art in itself.
With a rich amber colour, Genesis is bottled at 45.5% abv. The nose has subtle notes of sweet dried fruits and oak. The palate brings more intense dried fruits with subtle spices, ginger and chocolate, before a sweet but drying finish.

The dram opens with notes of cherry, leather, dark chocolate and vanilla. The taste is initially herbal with liquorice and green tea leaves with more spice, custard and chocolate orange. The finish leads to a closing experience of rich dried fruits and more chocolate.
