It underwent a 29-year-long maturation in a Spanish oak sherry butt. A decadent slumber for a rich whisky. Bottled at cask strength, this arrives with a cask-imparted colour and without chill filtration. An archetypal expression of The Macallan’s signature characteristics, this was bottled in 2006 and is a jewel in The Macallan’s history.
The nose is full to the brim. Notes of toffee apple, dates, vanilla, cinnamon, ginger, oak, and peat smoke all weave together. The palate is woody, spicy, with hints of peaty smoke, peaches, and dates. Dried fruits, spices, and toasted oak all harmonise on a grand finish. One that may steal the show, even on the most special of occasions.

Macallan 1991 25 Year Old Fine & Rare #7021

A 2016 bottling of Macallan from its Fine & Rare series showcases a dram distilled in March 1991 and brought up in 2016. It matured in American oak Vasyma puncheon cask, sherry seasoned in Jerez, for 25 years. This Highland single malt whisky is as Macallan as can be. Bottled at 49.4% abv, this is a showstopping edition in a highly sought-after series.
Aromas of apple, dried fruit, vanilla, almonds, and nutmeg arrive on the nose. The palate is sweet and spicy, with hints of raisins and figs. The finish is warming, fruity, soft yet resinous, with a velvety sweetness.

On the nose, there is creamy vanilla, cinnamon, and dried fruit. These flavours continue into the palate with plenty of baking spices at the fore before leading into the sweet and lingering finish.

Macallan 2007 18 Year Old Diamonds are forever
$600.00 Availability: In StockCreated by The Macallan’s Whisky Maker, Russell Greig, who is an avid Bond fan, The Macallan Diamonds Are Forever 55th Anniversary Release celebrates the continued ties between The Macallan and James Bond, following The Six Decades of Bond Collection in 2022.
Distilled in 2-007, the American oak casking represents the American base of the Diamonds Are Forever film, and the natural colour of the whisky mimics the Aztec sandstone in the Nevada desert scene. Bond is also shown in the film to be a connoisseur of sherry, and so to reflect this, The Macallan’s bespoke hybrid red wine and sherry seasoned oak casks were the obvious choice.
Bottled at a an abv almost as smooth as the agent himself, you’ll find this one an easy-sipper at 45.5% abv.

Macallan 21 Year Old Fine Oak
$1,195.00 Availability: In StockMatured in a combination of both ex-sherry and ex-bourbon casks, the Fine Oak series showcases a lighter style of Macallan than the Sherry Oak, with a little more distillery character apparent. The 21 year old expression is described as “The Age of Maturity”.
The nose would suggest an older whisky – scented hand-cream, sandalwood, pears in liquor: sophisticated. The taste is sweet, lightly spicy and drying elegantly. A little water introduces an initial spicy note to the aroma and a slight acidity to the taste.
